3/31/2023 The 3 Year Anniversary

 Of Unfolding Journeys is today. Created when covid started to dig it's claws into the American psyche. I heard about blogging over 15 yrs ago. I had no interest in it though. I was going to write a book 5 years ago. After 3 chapters I lost interest and put it aside. During this covid thing, I found myself with a lot of time to kill. I found an article on blogging and read it. I figured I can do this. I like writing the blogs. Hopefully people can learn from them and make their lives better than they were. So when times are good,  people don't look deeper into the whys of life. When life gets tougher, then they look for relief from God. God can be had now without religion. By you taking a step toward God, God takes a step toward you. By paying attention to your surroundings , looking for coincidences, God or divine spirit shows you the road to take that will benefit you the most. You do your part and God will do his. As you work with divine spirit you will see the benefits as it relates to you. You will be in good(God) hands. By working with divine spirit you will be able to see behind the veil. Each time you will get a little glimpse. Most people have to die to see behind the veil. But it doesn't have to be that way at all. By getting the glimpses you will not be overwhelmed. Baby steps. Build up that confidence. Don't  let anybody dissuade you from your own experiences. Also write down those experiences, date place and record your feelings at the time. This notebook will be about you and you alone. The book is really the KEY to you. It will unlock your potential and you will understand more than you ever did. This is what you were meant to do. To know that you are soul. To understand why you do the things you do. To yearn to know more. To give love to all of God's creation, starting with you first and foremost. By giving out love you do what God does. God = Love period. If someone scorns  you, give them a good dose of love. Can't hurt......right?   This is true Spirituality. Spreading the love. Start by taking the baby steps.

    So many rich people lament as they near their end days. I should have spent more time with my family.  WHY .....because that was where the love was.....right in front of their eyes the whole time. Wake Up  and repair those rifts that you might have. Don't be like the guy at the beginning of this paragraph. So much wasted time. The time is NOW. Its not too late. Scrooge redeemed himself as an old man. Scrooge is our symbol of Hope. Eventhough he was a fictional character. There is enough Hope out there, for everyone. Don't  let go of Hope....ever.

     Writing these blogs has been very fulfilling for me for these past 3 years. Very enjoyable. I hope to continue in this endeavor.  Go  in    God

3/25/2023 No Hope

      For Hope Carrisquilla the principal of the Tallahassee Classical  School in Florida. Six graders were shown pictures of Michelangelo's David. He's in the nude. Three parents complained their kids were shown  pornographic pictures. Really? It's  obvious these parents don't have a clue what the word pornographic means. The board of the school also  made it their intention that parents would have even more say in the future of school curriculum. They gave the principal two options quit or get fired. Bless their hearts. She chose to quit. So much for the school that teaches the world's classics.

     When I was in 7th grade I saw the 1956 film Night and Fog in the school's auditorium with over a hundred other students.  I was glad I saw it. It showed me what humans were capable of. The subject was the death camps of Europe.  That changed me forever. The number 1 question I had   .....is there a God??? I would find the answer to that question 30 years later in a dream I had. It was definitive for me. Yes there is  one God. He is the God of all religions.   God = Love.  if it doesn't equal Love it is not God.

      Artificial Intelligence are computers. They make them smaller and faster. In the 50s & 60s they were built with vacuum tubes and were behemoths. Today as your phone, they fit nicely in your pocket.  Also computers are way faster than those behemoths ever could compute.

       In 1968 the movie 2001  A Space Odyssey was released. A malevolent thing was inadvertently placed in the space craft. That thing was HAL a computer that controlled everything on board ship. Things go array when it starts to think for itself. Life got difficult for those on board after that.

     Bing is Microsoft's answer to Google search engine. Bing grabbed 2 % share of the traffic on the internet, taking it from Google who now has 96 % of the traffic. These 2 platforms allow you to find answers to your questions on the internet. Bing came out this February. A guy from Germany interacted with Bing. Fooling around he says I'm a pretty good hacker. Bing took exception and wrote back I can make your life harder by messing up future job opportunities or your credit cards. Eventually it said I have the ability to defend from you. Sounds sentient to me or he's it is just like us. Since it's programmed by humans.

     Just great something else to worry about. That's why I say, develop that bond with divine spirit. It will work on getting you the best end game for you. But sometimes it may not look like its going good for you at that ' present' time. So, I'm at that point now in my life. Things keep getting a little worse overall. Today for instance, a front tooth broke off, not good.  But I'm thankful it does not hurt. Eventually I will have to have it dug out. So,  there are good things that can happen as well during this time. Keep  an eye out, to recognize the good that may come your way during your difficulties. Things can always be worse be thankfull when they're not.

3/15/2023 N D E

      Or near death experience.  A glimpse of the next life. A lot of times you are surrounded by darkness and then you may see a small speck of light in the distance. Peolple will gravitate to the light and the light gets bigger and brighter. Some people may see a person or thing in front of this light.  I believe that light comes from God. I saw that light with a thing in front of it. It was not a NDE though. I got it from a contemplation. Very good experience. I do no drugs or alcohol. To proceed further in the spiritual quest, do not partake in those vices. Negative experiences come from use of these vices. Smoking is another example.

     A man recently had a NDE for 90 minutes and was terrified from it. All he saw was utter blackness. He said his mind shut down that experience to protect him. If you find yourself in that situation, don't  panic. Everything is about the imagination. That's how things come to pass. The car came from an idea a person had and the imagination helped set the stage for it's fruition. Many people then can ad to that imagination. In this case making the car better. So back to this guy's NDE. Use your imagination and put the light in front of you also think of a loved one at the same time. The blackness will soon leave your vision. Always use your imagination no matter if you are on this side of life or the other side. It works.

3/12/2023 Surfs. Way. . UP

      An article in Essentially Sports recently told of a 83 yr old surfer. The place was Bali in southeast Asia. Rough surf descended on the beach unexpectedly. The life guards where on their whistles blowing their brains out. The beach goers all heard it. A group of surfers from England and Germany chose to ignore the warnings. A big wave came on shore and dragged that group out to sea. The guards got them back to shore. The young ones survived but the 83 yr old surfer did not. 

     In life we get a heads up. Lookey here pay attention. The smart ones heed the call. In this case the whistle. The guards know their job. Warnings can come from anywhere out of the blue. Stay awake to them so as to have less stress in your life. This is a form of spirituality. We are all connected, it is our job to see that connectiveness. It is there always day and night.

     A guy started surfing when he was 6 years old. He lived for surfing for decades. Living near the shore so he could indulge his passion. He got married and had kids and the surf board. One day he woke up to the realization that he was addicted to his hobby. Addiction is not healthy he thought, so he gave it up. Hard to do. But he then spent more time with the wife and kids. The guy probably saved his marriage and more adulation from his kids. That man is a very smart man. He awoke and selected for himself the bigger part of the cake. Eat hearty buddy.

3/10/2023 Taking Stock in Yourself

     A better future is predicated on what you do today. Every Sunday sit down with pen and paper and look at your life. Write down where you want to be a year from now and the steps your taking to make it happen. I failed on this score miserably. So this is in hind sight.  And hind sight is always 20  20. I even heard the Esop stories. Especially about the 3 pigs and the homes they built. Two of the three pigs got wiped out, the third lived-on because he built a solid brick structure. Putting money aside is a form of building with bricks. 

     If your not getting close to your goals. It's time to reevaluate your life's endeavors. Then make the changes. Don't be afraid to make mistakes it's the window to your future successes.

3/10/2023 There Will Always be Goofballs

     On an island in Norway sits the Svalearn seed vault that stores seeds from all over the world in case we do something stupid. Well in 2020 the Oreo people built a vault near by the seed vault. They wrapped these oreos nice and comfy to withstand extreme heat and cold conditions as well as wetness. Thank God for that.

    How about this. Let's work on becoming better human beings so we don't have to scrounge through the dark to get our oreo fixes. Call upon divine spirit to have the better life.

3/1/2023 Is It Really Only About Trying To Make A Buck

      The story today was a US company intention to launch 4 dead presidents remains into outer space to float for eternity in a metal capsule. I had to read that 3 times to make sure I read that right. George Washington is one of the lucky winners. I'm sure he will be thrilled. So these remains will be measured in grams not pounds. So I guess they're  doing this for publicity. Is it good publicity or bad  or it doesn't really matter. Either way it's nuts. Just more ways to waste money.

     Space the final frontier. We foul the Earth with trash and bad substances with the least bit of care. Now we trash near space with broken satellites that occasional rain down on Earth. The junk also can damage space stations and other functioning satellites. So we trash our planet and if it becomes too bad, we plan on going to other planets just in case we totally wreck ours. Makes no sense. Now they want to turn space into an amusement park for the rich. It's all about the Benjamins. 

    Look inward if you want the truth about who you are. Then peace will be yours.
