6/28/2021 They Said It Was Safe

 

    That's  what a town in Florida told the people living in a condo near the beach. A hundred and sixty people may be dead. 

    One of it's  residents awoke the night before because she heard a noise the walls shuddered then stopped. She went back to sleep.  She dismissed her concerns.  The next night she didn't  make it due to the collapse. In life you sometimes get an inkling that something isn't  right.  It's  then that you have to do something to try and figure it out.  Now is the time to call in spirit to help in getting at least some of the answers. It just may save your life. 

    When I looked at the debris, I didn't  see any steel beams protruding through the wreckage just concrete and thin rebar.  Oh and they built it on fill. Plus in the mid 1990's it was determined that part of the building was sinking and a couple years later it supposedly stopped. On top of that in 2018 there was an estimate of 9.5 million dollars to address multiple problems with the concrete in the building.

    So when you say to yourself what was that? Don't  just shrug it off.  When I was working  on a second floor level of a house one day the house rocked on its foundation hard.  First I thought the furnace exploded, I went down to check. Nope not it. Earthquake I said.  Then  I ran outside.  I'm  the only one outside. Where is everyone I think. A couple minutes later people come out of their houses. That day was a day for action not thinking, just flat out run.

    When this covid  struck I was counting the days to get my shot. I knew this called for quick action.  13 months later I got my 2 shots.  Scientists have done a commendable job of developing  vaccines. Kudos to their great efforts, today and days past.  When people lash out at things they don't  understand it is fear that drives them.  Don't get caught up in other peoples fear.  It could hurt you, big time!

6/23/2021 Give Love A Shot

 

    Instead of lashing out during a negative experience, either by words or deeds. Try giving love a shot instead.  It doesn't  cost you anything, yet it can bestow on you some needed contentment. 

    We are all on this very small planet as guests. This planet's  orbit is called the goldilocks  zone where abundant life could develop throughout  it's environs. This capsule  we are on is called Earth. This is your home for now. Treat it with care. Be thankful  for this place is indeed rare.

           The number one thing you should do, is to                 always    listen to your heart.

     Love  can heal any situation. Just give it away and watch the results  as they manifest. The only thing that can heal divisiveness is love. When they come at you with hate, you return love  promptly. The love sent will do  it's  work.  Simple, easy peasy. Done deal.  It's  like an ingredient sprinkle it everywhere you can. The healing can start today. Have a problem with someone in the family, start to try it on them. It's  more about how it makes you feel when you give love to any and all situations. When you see it's  effects, you will want to do this every day.  Your life will start to change  over night.

  

6/17/2021 Breeds Hill

 

    The day an idea came to fruition in Massachusetts.  This day 246 years ago was a black swan event.  It changed everything not just here but world over.  Democracy was slowly  creeping into human consciousness. The first step was not a baby step, it was a huge leap forward. People are selfish for the most part.  It was about keeping the money in their own pocket. When the British tried to offset the cost of protecting the colonies from Indian  or   French attack, they tried to tax the colonists. Seemed reasonable. Not so to the rabble rowers. They were quick to stir up trouble. And they were good at it. The regulars in their red coats were the perfect mark.  The writers at that time were quick to give them noble aspirations. It did work out for the best though.  America was now to enter a new concept. And the world took note. 1 step forward 2 steps back but always pushing forward to a brighter future.

    The regulars ( British troopers) thought little of the colonists as a fighting force. And they were  right in their thinking. They new the locals would think twice before picking up arms to confront them. They didn't  have that much and would be afraid of jeopardizing  their status.  The British failed to understand the level of upsentment that was going on in the colonies.  And do to their arrogance they paid dearly for it. They underestimated them and paid dearly for it.

    The table was set at Breeds Hill Charlestown MA. The morning  of the 17th 1775, the British saw the redoubt up atop  Breeds Hill. They started  to shoot canon balls at it from their ships in the river.  By sitting atop the hill the colonists  could see everything going on in Boston. The regulars were  sent to retake the hill. The colonists sent General Prescott  to set up atop  Bunker Hill, which they did.  Some of his men the volunteers said nah lets jump over to the lower hill (Breeds) and fortify  that one since its  closer to Boston. The regulars paid dearly for their frontal assault. Three times up the hill they went getting cut down till the colonists ran out of ammo.  The Brits sent about 1200 men up the hill. 450 of them wound up dead about 85 of the were officers. Those  85 were a total shock to the brass.  They never sustained losses  like that in war before. They were in a state of shock, they won the battle and lost way way more than that in the eyes of England.  Country bumpkins didn't  cut and run, they fought tooth and nail and bloodied the lions nose. The Brits did not make this mistake again. They were mad about this battle for the rest of the war. So they got brutal in future combat with the colonists. The Brits were humiliated, did it fix their arrogance.  No Way!  When your arrogant.  Things do not    go well.

6/15/2021 Jonah

 

    Last week a lobster fisherman off the coast of Provincetown  MA, had to dive overboard to attend to one of his traps on the ocean floor.  He felt a big thud. His vision goes dark, then realizes  he's  inside a whale.  He thinks this is the end for him, his thoughts go to his teenage sons and wife. In the mean time the whale sucked up something he didn't  want in his maw. So he headed to the surface to spit him out.  Easier to spit him out in the air than trying to do it under water. The divers deck mate witnessed  him expunged from the humpback whales maw.   The whole episode took a minute. And one lucky man that had a tale to tell.

    This guy got a second chance the same that happened for the biblical  Jonah.  Jonah was tasked by God to go to the city of Nivanea  to tell the inhabitants to repent their sins.  Jonah thought twice about it. He said to himself oh no not doing that so he headed off in a different direction. He boarded a boat and tried to put as much distance between him and Nivanea  as possible.  Several days out on the sea clouds started to pile up on the horizon. Oh oh said the sailors were in for it. The storm hit hard, the sailors said this storm was way more severe than they ever encountered in their lives.  Jonah said I'm  the cause throw me over, they said no way.  The sailors  were still having  a hard time rowing and no relief on the horizon.  So they gave Jonah the ole heave ho.  Jonah was trying to stay on the surface the best he could til a whale breached the surface and swallowed him up. For 3 days and nights he was trapped inside. But he was protected against the storm. Jonah prayed to God and told God he would do as commanded by God. God then had the whale spit him out near shore. Jonah delivered the message to the town. The town did listen to Jonah and did a 180 surrendering it's  evil ways.

    These 2 stories are about second chances. What would you do with your second chance ?

6/10/2021 Take a Stand

 

    In the news these past several years, sexual abuse  stories have come out. It can happen anywhere, most notabably in the Catholic church and sport programs. They use cunning to trap their victims. The goal here is not to be a victim. Develop a trust in spirit, it can help you avoid the traps. Above all else your parents  or your  friends spirit is your absolute friend. By trying to use spirit in your daily life consciously  that bond will be made stronger.  Use it for little things or big things, it doesn't  matter. You use it til it's  2nd nature to you. That will be your shield.

    Priests and kids how outrageous!  Go to spirit and ask for the guidance no matter how old you are.  It will be your shield to any harm that may come your way.  Pay attention to any inner nudges you get and act on them. This is your connection to God. It doesn't  come from a church or a religion. Spirit awaits you to make the move. You want light as you walk into a room, then you flip the switch. You want help in your life then   ask  spirit for it's help. It's  not to say it will make everything perfect but it can help make the problem less severe.  One thing in life you can change is your attitude and changing it could do wonders for your life going forward.     Michigan.  The coach's son had a doctors appointment  with the team doctor. When he came home he told his mom what had happened. The mother was very upset.  Sexual abuse was done to her son. When the big shot coach got home mother and son told him what had happened.  He yells and strikes his son with a fist sending him flying into an adjacent  room.  The mother stands by and does nothing. Right.  Ten years later the kid is sent back to the same doctor.  The same thing happened to him again!  These people the parents are criminals There's an old saying fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. In this instance it was way far worse.

    Pennsylvania.  Another team with the same type of problem. An adult told the coach he witnessed a sex act between 1 of his assistants and a boy in a shower on campus. The coach tells him he will take care  of  it. Lo and behold they pass the problem to the higher ups and surprise  surprise nothing is done about it. So years and years go by and more and more kids were victimized.  It's  people not doing the right thing. Sometimes you have to go the extra mile to see this wrong addressed.

    One guy who did the right thing was Vinman. He heard something that was not good about a political  situation. He brought  it to his superior and they acted on it. It hurt him professionally.  He lost alot. But I bet spirit makes it up to him down the pike. Evil happens when good people sit and do nothing. It happened in Germany. It's  happening  in China now.  It can even happen right here in this country as well.

6/8/2022 Again Karma

    Two stories, recently in the news.  Aiden was on his way to kindergarten  in his mother's  car. He didn't  make it to class that day. He went to the morgue  instead.  Senseless  is the only word I can think of.  As the mother was driving down the freeway,  another car made an unsafe lane change in front of her,  she had to hit her brake.  The mother then promptly  flipped the other driver the bird. The offending car then slowed and slipped behind Aiden car.  The passenger  then used a handgun to shoot into the car ahead of him.  The bullet hit the boy in the back seat. Very sad! Horrendous is the word.

    Karma is what goes around comes around. The mother's unkind act set the ball in motion. We've  all done what she did but it isn't  right. Don't  respond a wrong with a wrong it could cost you more than you bargained  for. Once I seen road rage between 2 young men on a small road during rush hr. They were separated by 150 ft. They were red hot they were out of their cars yelling every bad word  you can think of at each other. Lucky for the both of them neither had a gun because during that debate it would have been a settler. STUPID!!

    The other story is  up in Washington state  on a lake. One boat is flying the rainbow  flag. Another boat starts to circle them hurling insults their  way. Over and over with the slurs and invective. During their circling the boat they are on, catches fire. The 3 trouble makers jump in the water to escape flames. The flag people pull them aboard. 1 of the trouble makers is a woman crying over the loss of the boat. They see another friends boat and tell the flag people to take them over to them. Which they did.  Not one of the trouble makers issued a heart felt thankyou. One word Arrogant. But a good lesson to the rest of us on how Karma works. Some people! These people have parents. The only thing I can think of is that they learned from their parents at a early age to be unkind and self absorbed. This bad behavior can be unlearned. You have to own it, recognize it,  change it. This is what will make you a better  person.

6/6/2021 Fascism

 

    Today is the day the allies pushed back against the Nazis and set them rocking back on their heels. Alot of young men lives would never be the same again.  They accomplished a noble deed which all the world should honor their mighty sacrifice. 

    The goal here is not to have  to fight another war to keep the world safe. Fascism ,Nazism, Stalinim and communism  are opposite ends of the political spectrum. We must all push back on extremism wherever it reels it's  ugly head.  Because the only thing it breeds is death.  It's  main modus  operandi is nothing else but Fear.  Stay rational try to use kindness  in all your interactions. If it doesn't  work  say have a nice day and take your leave of them. If they block your way in leaving, call on spirit to show you your next move. And that way maybe, its time to push back.
