4/09/2023 A Easter Message

In the movie,  It's  a Mad Mad World, Jonathan  Winters is screaming and waving his arms up and down vigorsly.  He says as people are chasing each other over the terrain in utter chaos, can't we all just get along? A guy then bum rushes Jonathan to his left. Jonathan pivots and lays him out with one punch.

There never will be peace here on earth, unless we have the peace within us. You can't fix the world. But you can fix you. Cultivate that little piece of heaven within you. And make it grow. That you can do.

In the Philippines, there are a handful of men that allow themselves to be martyred in the style of the crucifixion. They do it on Good Friday. I thought they are tied to the shaft. Nope.. they're actually spiked to the pole using stainless steel spikes instead of the iron ones used by the centurians. Now that is crazy. Lucky for them they are suspended in the air for 10 minutes instead of Christ's  hours on end. If anything needs to be crucified, its the petty lower self. Knock that out of commission,  so that the higher self can prevail. It's  that little quiet voice within. That's  what Jesus would have you do. The little voice is soul which is you, let it speak up and come forth.

Anyone can do it. No religion is required. Only your desire to act more "God like", giving out love and kindness. Less of the selfishness. You will become more of your "true" self when you act as your higher self. This requires you to look at yourself more often than you do now. Ask yourself how could I have handled that better. This is how you burnish yourself in becoming a more loving soul. For some it comes easy,  others not so much. It is so worth doing. You become authentic in the process.  God will also show you things along the way. He does this via divine spirit. It constantly flows out into the world. When you become attuned to your higher self, you will recognize this spirit operating in your life.  You are not alone. Heaven can be had here.
