Dec/25/2025 Bell Ringer

         Last week I approach a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. I place a buck into the plus sign slit of the kettle. As I enter the grocery store, I think I'll get the bell ringer a large navel orange. I see in store the large navels are on sale for a dollar each. I get a 5 lb bag if Idaho potatoes 2 for 7.00. Get to the self checkout. So I see that the potaoes are $4.30 and the orange is $1.50. Call the gal over. The potatoes should be $3.50. She can't get it to work either. Si dhe rings up a small navel orange $.70 cents. So between the potatoes and orange the price works out fine. I get ready ti hand iff the orange to the belly ringer an older guy, but he isn't at the station. I wait a little but he's a no show. The next morning, I get out the orange. Slice it but it looks off. Yep, it's a grapefruit. I like grapefruits. Ok then. So in my mind I had a plan and it didn't come to fruition. I'm glad I didn't hand him a grapefruit. DS  ( Divine Spirit) moving in small ways. A lot of people would dismiss this,  I do not. We like to think we can control events and we can by our actions. But once you try to align with spirit it takes on a whole different time frame. It gets done when DS deems the time is right. It happens on the micro scale and the macro scale. This here was a micro scale event. My intent was to hand over a large navel orange to the guy.  For what ever reason spirit wanted to go another way. Spirit can see ahead of the game.

        I told this story before. 40 years ago, I got my lunch from a deli. I made a pay phone call at a phone stand nextt to the bldg. I noticed a young woman nearby in distress. I got in the car and went to my job and would eat my lunch there. Well I noticed I left my wallet on top of the phone stand. Back to the store, and it was there. Also there was the same woman. This time I ask what's wrong. Boyfriend troubles. She has no money or car. So I drive her 15 miles to her house. Lost time snd money but I knew I was being of service to the DS. Happy to help out. So the first time I saw the woman I was going to say something but I didn' t, DS found a way to bring me back for the second chance.

Dec 19/2025 Hang Up

        So there is this coat rack in the house, on it's last legs. It' s  made of metal and can't stand upright. It leans against the wall. I tried to manhandle the metal legs into a better angle to touch the floor. It didn't work ofcourse. My next guess was to get wood involved. I thought of ways to do it. I thought  of a way to position the wood under the legs. Then as an afterthought I asked spirit about another way.  A couple days later I'm looking at it. Then I get idea to bring the wood pieces in towards the center a little bit and change up the axis as well. This is what I'm going with. When I get around to it.

        So I had my way about thinking it out. Then I asked spirit for it's input.  My guess is DS put that thought in me, because I Asked. Something as trivial as this. I go through life......figure it out...figure it out. And I forget about DS. Which is in my  spiritual toolbox. DUH!!!!

Dec 16/ 2025 Eighty- two and Much More Work To Do

         In 2022 in New Jersey at a Wallmart,  a guy working as a phone rep for an outside company, first saw her in the break room. She looked exhausted. She was holding down the job there to cover the mortgage payment on her house. Her husband had recently had a serious ailment, preventing him from working. She loved her house and wanted to stay there. The phone rep took a video of her at the break room unbeknownst to her. He put it on Tik Tok expecting a hundred views. He got over a hundred thousand. His title was .life shouldn't have to be so hard. Someone told him to do a Go Fund Me page, which he did. Hoping for a hundred dollars. He got 111,000 dollars. He contacted the woman's daughter and both of them went 'to the Wallmart parking lot. Eventually she went to her car. He introduced himself and told her what he did and would she accept the money. She said she would. However, she would still have to work since it wasn't enough to pay off the mortgage. She needed 160,000 dollars. He went on  Gi Fund Me again and explained the new update. He eventually got her 185,000 dollars total.

        So this 82 year old women clung to her dream. And in this case  her heart's desire came true. She did what she could to make it come true. With an assist from DS,  it came true.

        Me,  I wouldv'e probably downsized. Take action when formulating your dreams. Put your all into it, age does not matter. It also goes to show that there are a lot of kind people out there. Way more than the other kind.  Dream it,  believe it,  then accept it.

       As result of taking that video and posting it; he got fired from the phone job. But he said he was good with it. Good karma for him down the road.

Nov27/2025 Thanksgiving 25

         Today is the day we give thanks for the good we have received throughout the year. Each week we should reflect on this gratitude because it sets us up to receive even more. Not only to be thankful to God for the stuff we got but the stuff we don't get. We pray for stuff but sometimes we don't get it because we weren't ready for it. Find that distinction. It is an important one. When stresses come it shows us who we are. How do we deal with it. Do we lash out in exasperation. It is at that time  that we take a back seat and see what would be our best course of action. Our reactions is what matters. Whether we are wrong or right it doesn't matter but how we respond does matter. I fail on this scenario, quite a bit. Got to learn to bite my tongue before making things worse. Learn to put that pause into your interactions with others. Will the action promote healing or not. Use this in every aspect of your life. There is allot of discord out there, let's see if we can do our part in healing it. We want to keep our equanimity in tact. Our life will be more peaceful for our future days. 

        This day more than any other is of great importance in bettering our lives. But only if we live it every day and not just the last Thursday of every November. Be thankful and embrace it everyday.

Nov 22/2025 Rolling Pepercorns

         One day  I'm in  St Vincent Depaul thrift store and I see a glass pepper grinder with black and silver overlays. I snap it up for  $2.50. At the Dollar Tree, I buy $1.25 pepper grinders and take these corns and transfer them into the new pepper mill. On the plastic pepper mills the grinder part does not screw off. So, I take it outside and rest it on concrete and give a medium hit with the hammer to the side of grinder. I finish it off by prying it off with screw driver. Takes 1 minute. I put some corns in the new grinder then add red pepper in then the peppor corns again. Then the red pepper. I fill the grinder to top this way.

       This day I didn't want to go outside. So, I used a heavy duty steak knife to cut the plastic cap. Then switched to a butter knife to finish it off. It popped off in a couple minutes. But not in a controlled matter. Corns on the floor , in the sink and under the microwave. Lost about 1/8th of a cup of corns. Aa I picked up the microwave it was stuck to the hard formica. Got 3 feet loose after some effort but the 4th didn't budge. I worked the microwave from left to right while still lifting it up. It finally let go.

       So this negative event turned into a positive. The floor got a good sweeping in which it needed. The sink got a good scrubbing and that microwave problem. Now when the first of every month comes. I will lift the microwave so it doesn't become a problem. The seal is good to prevent the microwave from slipping around. 

         So when negative things happen in life, don't get mad or try to get even' look deep and find the gift. It is there. Is it always easy,  NO.

         This year I have been trying to be mindful. Yesterday I walk out the door and check for my stuff. No wallet. Back to the house. Well at least I didn't get to the store and buy stuff and then find no wallet which I've been known to do. So a 2 min mistake instead of a 40 min one. This mindfulness has been working out for me. Happy about that.

         I read where a lot of nutrients are located in the skin area of veggies. So I decided to try putting a grapefruit peel in a blender,  an added lime and lemon juice. It blended into a pink juice. Looked good but tasted lousy. Bleech! Good thing I had pineapple juice in the fridge. It doesn't always work out.

Nov 12/2025 Stairs Can Bring You Up or Bring You Down

        Last week, I waa looking for my other slipper. I always had 2 , now I'm down to one. The one I found was in my bedroom. Been a week and I still can't find it. So I was wearing my heavy duty sandals and I'm near the basement steps and the door is open. For some reason I'm looking to my left away from the steps. I turn to my right and the sandal catches the tile sideways causing me to tilt to the open staircase. I put out my hand to catch myself on the door jamb. Saved myself. It waa a lack of focus on my part. A family member in their 80s took a misstep on the stairs recently and put themselves in major pain. Waited 2 weeks for the operation on his shoulder. In pain for 2 weeks before operation and now after. Pain meds weren 't cutting it.  I am very greatfull that I didn't go down those stairs the wrong way.

        What did I learn, to be more focused and having gratitude. A small thing could've become a very major disruption to my life. Spirituality plays the long game. No need to hurry anything. It is the accumulation of many, many small events over the course of a life time. Recognizing it as truth will definitely make your journey a lot smoother. If you are obsessing about anything, you can change it by changing your attitude about it. You can say what am I missing here. There is a lesson here for me. So these little potential problems could of turned into something major and unpleasant big time. That little thing gets mega gratitude from me. See how these little occurences in life have saved you from major harm. This is real contemplation. Learning from other's misfortune will also help in developing gratitude in you. This way their lesson becomes your lesson as well. Take 1 day a week and look for the lessons you experienced small and big and write them down in your journal.

Nov 07/2025 Pancake

         I wake up around 5:30 am. everyday and pick up the phone and scroll the apps. Around 6 take care of the cat. Then exercise with the 20 pound dumbell and various body stretches. After 21/2 years I have muscle tone in the arms. Which was my goal. I took the slow road. It worked out really good. Last month I got a free flu shot without insurance. Lucked into that one. The last 4 months I was hearing about the shingle shot. Each year I would hear about it. But now it is even more so, for me to take notice. I take that as a nudge from DS to get it done. This one will not be free.  300 from a drug store 200 from the county. My mother once had the shingles and it was not fun one bit.

        Now, for the pancake. I would alternate between eggs one day to cereal and to something new a pancake, around the first of the year. Got a mix and used water. It didn"t go to well. But I kept trying every 3rd day. Making them too thin, over done and not too tasty. Then I decided to add, buttermilk. The results were not that good as well. In April I found a mix with Bluberries im it at Wallmart. I pour the mix into a small square bowl. Just a little shy of half a bowl gives me 3 small 4 inch diameter pancakes. Now, these blueberries if you can call them that were little blue micro  balls that could pass through a fork's tines. In truth you can't really call them Blueberry pancakes. By June my abilities were 4 out of 10. One day I saw blueberries at the store and got them. Added them to the mix, big improvement. I stopped with the buttermilk. I take a non- stick pan and strike it with a butter stick unsalted butter. Then drop a loose batter into the pan. Another improvement I made was adding a little more water. I was always making it too stiff. Another hard part was staying focused in not over cooking the pancake. If it got overdone , I would scrape it with a serated knife. I use a wooden spatula to limit my use of plastics with food. Today I made the best pancakes ever, looks and taste. All in all it was worth the effort. This endeavor helped me in perseverance as well as keeping focused.

        When I eat breakfast I like to listen to chants I find on You Tube. One of the chants is HU. I keep the volume low, it's a nice pleasing effect. It starts my day off with a positive spin.

Oct/ 30/2025 DS in Action

           Stands for Divine Spirit. With me it is with my efforts in fixing some problem I have going on. I do what I can and then ask DS to intercede for me. Then I get to see how it does things.  You can say coincidence but I do not. It operates on it's schedule. Alot of times I would like it to be  quicker though. 

      When I'm in a store, I have a couple things in my hand. The person that is front of me has a cart of stuff. My thoughts are let me go ahead but I say nothing, then the person would say go ahead of me. I do. Then I say to them May God do something good for you before the sun sets. I also let people go ahead of me at stores. So, yesterday at Wallmart I park behind a car. There is a faint bumper sticker that says may something good happen to you today. A verification of my own thoughts. Greeting people with have a nice day can help them out during their day. A little upliftment who knows how that can benefit them. I know one thing it makes me feel good. 

        So I push through the problem at hand. Like the problems with my car since the beginning of February. It still ongoing. But many times DS has helped me out of a sticky jamb. When a  new problem comes up, I say I will get through this. And I do with the DS help. When you can see it for yourself. Your world will change. Don't sit back and wait for divine providence but do take action. Then your eyes will be opened. This is what these Blogs are about. Every Sunday look back at your week and see if you can spot it's help. Also how many times did you call on DS to help you out. Answers can come in seconds, minutes, hours, days and weeks. Take note. So worth it.

Oct 20/2025 HELL

         It is real. It is of your own making. You can choose actions here on earth, that will give you that experience. Also, you will judge yourself when you die. If you believe yourself to be unworthy, you will be in Hell as well. 

        To get out of that so called place, forgive yourself and ask for God's grace. You can do this on both sides of the veil. When you forgive others as well as yourself, you release the shackles that bind you to the lower realms. 

        When out and about, be kind to others even if they're not nice to you. Try to turn the conversation to a positive tone. Or you can ask DS to intercede for you. And the last resort is to walk away from the situation. Try to stay positive in whatever predicament happens to be in front of you. These actions will pay off for you in making your life better. Sow good seed for your future harvest. And Hell will no longer be of consequence for you. 

Oct/11/2025 They Hit the Mark

          On the Road with Steve Hartman, told the story how an Oklahoma high schools' basketball title win presented a quandary to the team that won. Team A won on the court. But it's coach felt an unease about it, because there was some problem in the score keeping. When he got home, he wanted to get the game film and review it. After the review he found that his team actually lost by 1 point. He told his team the bad news. He took a poll of the players and they all wanted to return the title to team B. Legally they didn't have to but morally was another story. Team B was given the plaque by team A.

        This story is what it is all about when the human race can shine bright. We can all aspire to do the same in our own life. Team A showed the world the right way to live life. Kudos to them! 

         Making the right decision in our life can get tricky but we can call on DS for guidance.

Oct/07/2025 That First Impulse

        My car has over 205,000 miles on it. But when I hover over the motor, I feel that the motor is good. Other things have been going bad though to be expected. So I don't get rid of it. That first thought worked for me. Now, I'm getting this new phone. I'm in T - Mobile, use to be Sprint. I've had a Note 9 since 2017. The case is messed up and new screen is 250 dollars. So I'll get a new one. My first impulse was to stay with the Samsung new phone. They had a new android phone Google. I liked it and it was also an android phone. I got that. Got home and it had a glitch in the software. Couldn't use it. Bring it back and they fix it. Good I 'm happy. Go home  find out latter that my notes did not transfer over to the new phone. Call them up, they say it should transfer since they're both android phones.  Go there and gal finds out the notes only transfer if it is a Samsung phone. Go home new phone is working. Juice up my old phone. Can't make calls but I can get my notes to come up. They want 75 dollars for a restock fee eventhough I had it less than a week. Now I'm thinking hold on to both phones.

         So there you have it. I listened to my first thought with the car and that worked out in my opinion. Then I disregarded it with the phone. Aaagh! So I'm at 50 %. I want to be at 100%. But in baseball terms I'm batting .500 which is way more than good.

        It's always something. But when we go through it. Hopefully, we still have our somewhat peace of mind.

Oct /6 /2025. More Car Woes

        I knew I had a problem with my starter. So when the car started in the morning, I would leave it running. When I stopped anywhere, I let it run. Then with my second key, I would lock the car. I would burn the extra gas. This worked for a month. I went to a store that sells used car parts. I called first to see if they had the part. I tried about 10 places before finding the starter. Years ago it would be 25 dollars. Now it's 65 dollars. Brand new one can be up to 400 dollars. I asked the gal how many miles on the wreck. 132,000 miles. Good that gives me 70,000 mi left on it, I hope. I shook it and it was tight. I left it in the car, til I would need it. This scenario worked out for a month. Until I was doing a job at somebodies house. I turned it off because I would be there 3 hrs. Get back in the car and it doesn't start. DS helped many times in the past with car troubles but not this time. This one was on me. I rolled it onto the street. The tow guy wanted 80 bucks. Nope. I ask a friend and he didn't want to tow me with a tow rope. Called AAA to join but there is a waiting period before you can use the tow service, like a week. Nope. Then I call my insurance company. Do I have towing, no. I put it on for 10 dollars a month extra and they let me have my tow right away. Very thankful for that. Tow it to my house. I called the service station prior and they wanted 250 dollars to put it in, tax is extra. Nope. I watch a you tube video in how to do it. I get the part out of the car. On it in a grease pen it says 2012, my car is a 2010. Uh  oh. I call an auto part store zo see if it would fit. They couldn't give me a definitive answer. I looked on line it said no it would not fit. Then I got smart, I called  the Hyundai dealer. I read him my part number from the starter. He said it would fit. Good. When I replaced starters before I would go under my truck and do it. It would take 40 minutes. Take out 2 bolts and disconnect 2 wires. This car,  to do it, you do it from the top. Now that is a pain. I got it out, and had to thread it through the tubing and wires at back of motor.  Putting the new one back in was harder as I had to hold it in place with 1 hand and thread bolts back in. Then attaching the 2 wires , you do it by feel because you can't see the thing. Turn the key it starts right up. Very happy.  Saved $267 with tax. Thank you DS,  in the things seen and unseen that happen for me.

        Don't give up. Be creative in all aspects of your life. Invite D S               ( divine spirit) into your life. Glean the lessons that come your way. Stay positive, it helps your mental state. Do at least one kind action a day. All of this helps in opening your heart. Best part is anyone can do it at any stage of life.

9/23/2025 3 Rose Bushes

         I use the term bush loosely. They look like sticks in the ground' with some discolored leaves. In the Spring they put out flowers, maybe 25. We had decent rain in the Spring and early Summer. After the initial bloom, it pretty much stopped. So we haven't had a good rain in a month now. I looked at them, sorry  state of affairs. So 3 weeks ago I started to water them. After 10 days, I noticed a bud on 1 of them. In 2 days it opened, beautiful 4 inches across. Then I got 3  more buds. And the leaves started  to get greener. The other 2 roses', nothing til yesterday where I see 1 bud at the top of it. So far the middle bush nothing.

        So, a rose knows what it is and that it's suppose to kick out roses. With a little help from me, it was able to fulfill it's purpose. Now with us. A lot of us don't know who we are. And this is our purpose. To know it and to be it. Instead of water we can use DS ( Divine Spirit). We ask a question snd then look for the answer. We build up with those answers. And when we get enough of those answers, then like the rose we broadcast the divine from within. That Divine spark exists in all of us. No matter how bad our outer appearance or self worth,  that spark of brilliance is stil there.....waiting to shine forth once more.

9/18/2025 Phone

         My phone is getting old.  2018 note 9. I like the phone. When the interface failed 3 years ago I paid 300 and some odd dollars to get it fixed. 3 months ago I had the 3rd battery put in for 60, which was a good deal. 7 months ago I dropped the phone on the pavement from getting out of the car. Landed face down. It still worked but had small cracks in the glass. When I first got it I had liquid glass put over it. This is what cracked. It's been getting worse in the cracking since. Guy said I need a new screen. 280 dollars. I was thinking about doing it but I held off because  of the age of the phone. I put packing tape on the worse cracks,  little pieces of tape. Now, last week I see in the morning a dark 3/8 inch sliver of something on my white cutting board board, where I sit to eat at the table. Thought it was weird some food scrap.  I go to pick up my phone to turn it on. Doesn't turn on. I try several times. I look closer, the little small rectangular side button is gone. Yep that piece on my cutting board is the button. I put it in and press , phone goes on. But the piece falls out. I cut a small piece of packing tape and wrap it around button and 2 sides of the phone. So far after a week , no problem turning it on & off. In life when problems arise, we have to get creative. In the last 2 years , there has been a lot of creativity here. Well after this debacle, I come to the conclusion it is time for a new phone. Sadly no more  note phones are made. Went to T- mobile  to get a new phone. I would pay it off. A big catch is I would need 85 dollars upfront. I said put it on my bill. No can do says them.  Iv'e been with them as Sprint customer for 25 years. I am greatfull that my old phone is still working. Soon I will get a new phone.

       Always work with what you got.

9/5/2025 Keep One Eye Open

       The last year I've been listening to ndes ( near death experiences).  Over 10 years ago I saw on tv, a guy who had a nde. He told how he was a type A personality and workaholic. Plus the guy looked rough. When he talked about his experience you could see the light coming out of him. And the peace. He reclined into that blanket. On tv you can see it. On the phone not so much at all. So I was hooked on the ndes. I would occasionly look at them.Now after doing this more steadily for a year, I have some reservations about it. The last one was August 31 2025.  A great change is coming, Jesus told me so.  The person says. There have been previous dates that have come and gone. Well August 31 has come and gone. Sounds like BS. But not that first guy, that guy was for real. So there is something behind it.

       What is important is your understanding of how God can help you understand you a lot better. Starting with intuition. Your gut. Go with that always. Ask yourself, does this feel right? If it comes right away strong do what your gut says or not do. If it's maybe, backoff til you get more information. When buying a car you have to kick the tires. Just don't take their word for it. This is how decisions are made. If you selected wrong, don't be afraid to bail on it and take your losses. In reality it was worth the experience. 

        No matter where you find yourself, God is nearby. Even when you cross the veil. If you find yourself in Hell, call out for God's help and extend your hand. This side of the veil or the other, always push yourself zo get to the better side. Keep that will to do so. If there are things that you detest, look for the lessons there. They are there. Once you understand that lesson the situation will abate.

        Whatever comes down the pike financial woes, illness or mental stressors. Use your common sense, your gut and divine spirit to counteract them. The more you do this the stronger you become. Oh snd always use love in your endeavors. So anytime someone says oh this is going to happen or that is going to happen, take it with a grain of salt.

8/20/2025 Advice

        One day some kid in high schoolp was told he was a fat pig. Ok... that's negative. It hurt his feelings. But he turned that slight to his advantage. And started working out on a consistent basis. After a year he was starting to develop a body builder's physique. Final result he was happy.

       One day long ago a woman asks me what I think of her, because she read in a book that asking a question like this will help in understanding yourself. I said what are you for real. She said yes. So I said your not going to like it. She didn't care. Ok then....I tell her. She didn't like it. Others see our faults. But on hearing it, you can then start to work on yourself.

       One day decades ago I asked DS what are my negatives. Go into a small takeout cafe for my egg sandwich from a WW2 Irish vet a US citizen. Me and him always got along. Walk in and he says you know what your problem is....your arrogant, your selfish and a list of  15 others. I wish I had a pen and paper. But DS gave me the answer the next day. I bet if you called him on it , he wouldn't remember saying those words because it was not him but DS. Did I fix myself up....a little bit.

       I noticed that the last 10 months, I always interact with others to have a nice day or words to that effect. I feel a lot better for it. It uplifts me ...that small little gesture. And I mean it for these people to have a real good day. In some way it raises both boats.

       In life when things are tough. Be grateful for what you do have. Write it down and ad to it over the months. Look at it once a month. Try to make the list longer as days go by. When you are grateful it opens you up to more good things for you.

       In closing, remember you say to yourself when thing are tough. I Will Get Through This.....No Matter What! And then ask DS for help.

8/16/2025 AI ...watch-out

        Artificial Intelligence. It may start out ok but it doesn't end well. More and more freedoms will disappear. What ever comes down the pike, don't get any implanted chips under your skin. Even if they say it will help monitor your health. They will expand on this technology. Pace makers are ok. Remember it's not technology you rely on but your connection to divine spirit. The more you work with it, that trust will grow. It comes in nudges and dreams.

8/02/2025 Pink Salt

        Scams are out there by the bushel full. This one put some Pink Himalayan Salt and some cut up fruit in water, to lose weight. There are many others like college student invents a thing- a- ma jig to reduce your electric cost for your house. All BS, is what it is. When in doubt look it up on the internet for unbiased reviews. 

      .My father as he got older late 80s, was a learned man.  But he succumbed to publishers clearing house come ons. Thankfully it was only chump change. A woman I once worked for lost 23, 000 dollars to scam artists via the mail. The bank should of flagged it. Not allow her to withdraw the funds for a week until finding out more about it. She was in her 80s and was in the education field for decades. 

       So there is an old wives tale to toss salt over your left shoulder for luck. Better yet,  leave it in the bottle.

7/27/2025 Goodbye.......Maybe

         This is just a maybe. Just want to say it now for the future. If I don't  blog it's because I can't. Been seeing accidents once in awhile as well as car damage on other vehicles. Also bad drivers. Like yesterday. Guy behind me for one. Cars ahead are stopped at red light. There is an extended long wide concrete curbing 50 ft down the middle of the road. The guy goes to my left into the oncoming 2 lanes of traffic, he veers to the shoulder and travels against traffic which is now there. All because he didn't  want to wait at the light. I take all this as DS showing me the overall situation. In other words, I have to be more viligent than ever before. Messing up will not go well for me. So I take this warning seriously. Always watch what the other guy us up to. In a parking lot I look and slowly pull out inside the lot because no one was there. And just like that a guy comes barreling right in front of me. No problem stopping. caught me off guard. Hopefully everything  works out.

7/26/2025 When Push comes to Shove

        I'm in a line to the drive up ATM. Guy moves out and I take his place. I put my card in and it's blocked. He left his card in the machine. Do my thing then go walk in bank to hand over the guy's card. I didn't think anything about it. In hindsight I see a connection.

       Today I used my dasher card at ULTA.  Later in day at home depot and go to pay for product. I look for my card....no card. Just great. I think I left it at ULTA.  Get to UlTA..... yep they had it. So the message for me was the guy was careless when he left his card at the ATM. That was a warning for me. I got that warning about 4 days prior. So I wound up doing the same thing at ULTA.  The lack of mindfulness on my part. It bit me.

        I told the story previously about a gal 30 years ago who noticed used plastic oil bottles at random places on the ground. She would not think twice about it. But it was so frequent that it sunk into her. At a service station getting gas the attendant said do you want me to check the oil in your car? She said no. But then 2+2 kicked in about the oil bottles. She said ok check the oil. She was down 2 quarts.

       This is how DS is trying to get our attention. So by not being aware....we wind up running around trying to correct things, like I did today. Not fun. But I'm very grateful for the experience. See how you can apply it to your life.

7/19/2025 Wasp

        Born into a wasp family. White anglo saxon protestant. Parents didn't  go to church. Their motto was do on to others as you would have them do onto you. They followed this rule 95 percent of the time.

        The other day I get stung by a wasp. They are quick when their house is threatened. It gets me on back of hand base of thumb. I stick it under cold water and pinch the skin hard til it hurts. I push the skin toward the finger tips mostly the thumb. I do this because I want to limit the poison descent into the wrist. I squeeze below the little red mark of the sting. Pinching hard. I see a little tiny drop of white liquid come out of center of thr red dot. That's  the poison. I keep pinching the skin back of hand hard. The thumb swells up in 15 min and then the back of hand. It did not go into the wrist. Itched a little bit. By next day it was pretty much done. So you can try this squeeze hard and let it hurt. Sqeeze all around the area. If you have an allergic reaction go to urgent care.

7/15/2025 A Ticket to What

         I was heading into the grocery store and in the parking lot I see a lottery ticket on the macadam. Not a scratch off. In the store I'm behind a lady with a tee shirt that says play the lottery. So in front of store are 4 big machines that spit out scratch offs and reg tickets. I stick in 2 dollars and get a scratch off.  Reach down and get ticket plus a reg ticket that someone left behind. It's a pick 4 for todays date. Bottom line both tickets were losers. Life is like this. Win some lose some. So I take a chance. Two things doubled up...1) ticket on ground...2) woman's tee shirt. So I took the 2 dollar chance. When making big decisions. Ask your friend's opinions and write them down. Have a dream about it. Ask DS for an answer to your question. Then put it down on paper. Always try for the answer.

       In the past, I had a tennet if I saw something double up, I would pay attention.  I used to collect post cards. One day I bought at a fleamarket one hundred Nova Scotia cards. I was going to go on a trip with my camper, so I included it in the trip. Added several hundred miles to the trip. And I never been there.  Best trip ever. Took a chance and it worked. One day found toy iron cable car at flea market. Bought it. Then at same flea market another cable car. I buy that too. Both refer to San Francisco. I was thinking of going there before I went to the market. It reinforced my impetus to venture out there. Another great trip. These are waking dreams. I use them in my life. It leads to some great experiences. Life is up and downs, look for the lessons that come with each experience. Everyone can do this. No matter where you are.

        Here's a tip, keep pushing against the unknown until it becomes known to you. Exploring the unknown will add richness and excitement to your life. We all can have rewarding experiences on a daily basis. Give and take always.

7/10/2025. Stress

        A lot of people have it, as of late. It is not fun. I have it now more than ever. How to mitigate it? Ask DS to take care of it ...for starters. Also say...I will get through this rough spot. Say that 5 times. And any time you think about it during the day. Take actions, keep them small. Your tackling it in little bites. Write down your stresses and read them everyday and what you did during day to lessen them. Any negative thoughts, see them turned into pebbles. Drop them into a bucket in your visulation. Then at the end of visulation toss the contents into a river. During this time limit the amount of negative news that you read or balance it out with positive news. At end of day write 3 things you are greatful for. You end the day with a postive action and in the morning you start the day with a positive action. Do this not only in times if stress but everyday. It's tuff I know because I'm dealing with it. I just tell myself I will get thorough this no matter what. And I take actions. It is slow going. But I have to remeber the little things to be greatful for. Like when I got stuck on the curb. That it wasn't raining. That was huge for me. And finding a 10 dollar bill in parking lot. Money for gas. Spirit comes in little ways and it can be a kind word from someone to get you over the hump. So if we dig ourselves a hole, it will be up to us to get ourselves out of it. DS can also lend an assist along the way. It will come to s point, where we can say I survived the tough time and I'm ready to create a better more rewarding life for myself. By using yes or no we can change our reality. No matter the situation ask yourself is this good for my life or not. Then take action in word and deed.

       In times of stress don't make big decisions. You want time to think on it then invite DS (Divine Spirit)  to help you make a decision. Can come in a dream or while you are awake.

7/ 09/2025. Pills

        For high blood pressure, I take Lisinoprill and the water pill which is incorporated into 1 pill. I take 2 pills. I use a weekly pill dispenser. If I miss a day I leave it and continue out the week. Sometimes I miss one day a week . So 2 weeks ago I missed 2 days . Not good at all. I looked over the situation and made adjustments. My place at the table was too cluttered. A lot of spice bottles. Put the majority of them back in cabinet. Then cleared a space on the place mat. I can see the round pill carrier clearly. For last 2 weeks no mistakes. Since practicing mindfulness this year, I do see improvements. They are small but meaningful. The more this is practiced the better you will get in all aspects of your daily living. And I'm not there yet.  That yet, I intend to acquire. Driving is difficult. Why? It's  trying to be mindful on a steady consistent basis. Making a mistake here has dire consequences. Your eyes need to focus in front, rear view mirror and the sides. By practicing mindfulness you become even more aware of how you perceive reality. It's  like adjusting a radio station to get it more clear sounding. This is taking responsibility for our own lives. Taking these actions expands on our mind's capabilities. The subtle difference between action and patience. Like,  I'd rather be late to the party than not get there.

      Also, when we get inner nudges, listen to them. They are there to teach some aspect on our life. Follow through and write down what you learned from that inner nudge.

7/04/2025. The. 4th

         249 years ago, 56 men signed on the dotted line. This Declaration of Independence would put those men in jeopardy. If caught they could get hanged. All of them had families.. Took a lot of guts to do what they did. Twelve signers had their houses ransacked and burnt to the ground. Five of them were captured. They were eventually released or exchanged in prisoner swaps with the British.

          Robert Morris was a wealthy merchant who helped finance the war. After the war he went into real estate which led to his downfall and dying in poverty. James Wilson would spend some time in debtors prison. Carter Braxton was s planter & trader. His ships were harresed by the  British constantly. He also dies in poverty. Thomas McKean was constantly hounded by the British and was forced to move his family on a regular basis. A lot of his things were taken from him and he too dies in poverty. Ellery, Hall, Walton, Clever, Guinness, Hayward, Rutledge & Middleton.  The Brits and Torries loot their properties 

        Thomas Nelson Jr, he urged G Washington to open fire on his house at Yorktown, that was occupied by Cornwalis. His house burnt to the ground. He dies in poverty too. Francis Lewis, his home and grounds are destroyed. His wife is put in jail and she dies a couple months later. And now on to the saddest fate of all. John Hart. He is driven from his dying wife's bedside. Their 13 kids are scattered  as his homestead is laid waste. On the run for more than a year, iving in the woods and caves. He returns home to no kids or wife. He dies frwom exhaustion 2 weeks later.

        Other signers were B Franrklin, B  Harrison, T Jefferson,  Francis Lightfoot Lee,  J Hancock,  Adams and Samuel Adams.t

       I'm surprised that none of the richer signers helped the other signers when they struggled. After all they were all in it together. The US didn't help them either. 

       Was it worth it? Only those who signed can tell you. Alot of these men lost everything. But their sacrifice created the United States. It would go on to combat evil in the world. Think on these men who lost everything. This is their day.

6/30/2025 Hodgepodge

        The 2nd day after I bottomed out car a 6 in curb. I exit the same restraunt door and there sits a slightly larger car with it's  2 wheels over the curb on the same island I was stuck on. The guy or gal hit it hard and broke a 2 ft section  out of the curb.  I tried to help. Told him to stop accelerating. White smoke came from the tire as it spinned on the rocks. I got the trunk carpet out of my car and put it under the back tire. It's rear wheel drive. I say go slow. Nope he can't follow directions and the carpet goes flying behind the car. In the mean time a guy pulls up with a big new blue pickup with hitch pulls recessed into the front bumper. He drops in a tow rope and pulls him out in 5 seconds. Dude where were you 2 days ago?. I am thankful to the guys who helped get me out of my predicament, the other day.

      Seems of late, I'm always low on cash. Needed money for gas. I park in this spot randomly and I step out almost atop a 10 dollar bill. I got gas

       I buy these markdown oranges. As of the last 2 weeks I haven't. Was thinking about it recently. Then yesterday I pull into a random parking spot at grocery store and park kitty corner. Get out and rescue a big navel orange. Not damaged. It got away from somebody. Thank-you  DS. Washed it up the next day it was good. Keep your eyes open and get creative when looking to move forward.

       Never give up hope. Never. Don't  say things negative with a lot of emotion. Someone once said something about wishing they were dead. Well they didn't die but things went bad. I always say I will get through this and then take some form of action.

      When making a big purchase, take your time list the negatives and positives. Write them down. I ìwrote previously about a truck I wanted. I got tipped off by the trans problem but discounted it, because it didn't  happen again  plus I liked the look of the truck. The trans wound up setting me back another 1000. The trans was previously fixed by this shop. Like 6 mos prior.  I went to the same place. I got 2 to 3 years out of the truck. Went thru a puddle and that was it. Guy spent 10 hrs on looking for the problem in the electrical system. He said more work would be needed. Too much money. Gave him the title instead. All that grief because I cast commonsense to the side.

       Find your moments of contentment. I like birds. I get up 5: 30 each morning. I open the door put the ceiling fans on and enjoy the morning, listening to the birds. No mowers, no big trucks, no horns,  no people screaming and no sirens.

        Yesterday I walked into a Chinese food place. I see the big jar with fortune cookies. I get urge to buy 2, .30 cents. The first cookie has no fortune. That has never happened. Tell the gal she gives me another one. First fortune proclaim patience and  prosperity.  The second says your in for a thrilling experience. Those were the best fortunes I ever got. In my life when there are doubles I pay attention. Thank-you DS.

        Up ahead the gates go down with red flashing lights. Two big diesel engines approach the crossing. Wild bushy hair guy starts to peddle faster to beat the frieght train, are you nuts! I know that there was no way he could do it, too far back. Why try to risk your life when all you have to do is wait. The train was over a mile long. Four cars turned around and I was at the dropped gates.  The end of train was not a caboose but another pusher diesel engine. 15 minute wait is all. Err on caution. Live to see another day.

6/23/2025 Lifting the Bell

        So for now 2 years, I've been working out with the 20 pound dumbell. Most of 24 I scaled it back. Doing 70 reps with the left arm and 55 with the right, per day. Doing some more lesser reps once in awhile. The slight wrinkles in biceps are still there.  Now I'm doing 65 reps with the left arm and 40 reps with the right. Then I do 30 with the right and 40 with the left. Then repeat. In 2 weeks I see quick inprovement with the bicep. I do the exercises at home. The more reps you do will have a bigger payoff. Just don't over do it. As long as you do something every day or every other day. Ar least you will maintain what you got. After 2 years I'm pleased how it is working out. The smaller reps seem to be the charm. Building muscle and flexible exercises protects your bones & joints. A new exercise is holding the dumbell vertical. My left  & right fingers wrap under the bell held between my legs when sitting. I rest my arms on the thighs. Then I lower the weight up snd down til a count of 25. This exercise does a lot of good. I do 2 reps per day. Another exercise is to lift the bell over your head while standing lock your elbow when overhead and hold to a count of 50 for each arm.

      I still do the stretches with the open door frame for my back in which I discussed in a previous blog. I do it in the morning when I get up. It takes the little kinks out and I'm good for the day. When doing exercises try different things. Always go slow and if feeling a twinge of pain stop. It also wise to see a doctor and get checked out for sny potential problems. Doctors can't do everything but by listening to them you can extend your life. My father fell shory by 1 week shy of 92. He listened to his doctors. No one in his family ever made it to their 90s. He got himself an extra 6 years. Compared to his brothers.

6/17/2025 More on Breed

        A long time ago I envisioned myself atop Breed's Hill on this day. June 17th at 6 am. The explosions heard in Boston went on all day. The sounds came across the Charles River. According to a domestic servant the sounds were horrific. As well as the black smoke from the city of Charlestown burning. It was the most terrifying day she ever went through. She recalled many years later. 

       I didn't make it here. Oh well. One day I hope to someday.  The colonials lost the battle but won the war. They put fear into the souls of the regulars, as well as the brass. Attacking fortified positions was a mistake not to be repeated by the British. Caution would enter into play. This caution prevented them from pushing the envelope in future engagements.  There is a balance between caution and out right aggressiveness. They the Brits failed to walk this tight rope. Thanks to this day 250 years ago. 

       The 20th century rolls around and we were there to help our hated adversary out in 2 world wars. You never know in life. The worm can turn. In warfare as well as our own lives we have to strike that balance between aggressiveness and caution.  Fortunately we have a helper in DS ( Divine spirit. It is ours if we seek it out.

       This day above all others was a single day that changed the course of world history. A great nation arose atop this hill. This nation would be a force of good. A nation that would keep the world out of tyrany. Growing pains along the way sure. I believe God's plan was behind the US. He foresaw what was coming down the pike. Trust in God first, form that connection. It is on our money In God we trust, don't just think of it as a slogan. But something that is lived on a daily basis.

6/17/2025 BREEDS HILL

        250 years ago, this battle happened. The British won but at a great expense to them. This is what happens when you attack a fortified position head on. Plus the Redcoats had to march up the hill in a abreast formation. They went up in formation but on the way back down it was every man for himself. Total chaos. Plus the hill was ringed in smoke from gun powder and the town of Charlestown  which was up in flames due to naval bombardment in the morning. Over a thousand casualties happened to the Redcoats. Which includes dead and wounded. Of those 1,000 men almost 10 percent were officers. The Brits couldn't believe it. Never in their military history did they suffer such a loss. Needless to say they learned from their mistakes that occured on this day. One thing they did not unlearn was their contempt and arrogance. Which would cost them dearly throughout the war.

       These minutemen were mostly farmers and tradesmen. And they all knew how to handle a musket. There was no US and no army. After Breeds Hill an army started to form. It was down to 2 men to lead the Continental Army, George Washington and Horatio Gates. George won out. Thank God for that.  So back to Bunker Hill, the militia was told to secure Bunker Hill. As men were digging in, some of them said it was too far back from the Charles River let's go to the smaller hill over there. They were not officers. They were free thinkers. Most of the men followed them to Breed's Hill. Others stayed on Bunker Hill following orders. These free thinkers wound up shattering the Brits invicibility. Even though the Brits won, it damaged them psychologically. If the defenders of Breeds Hill had not run out of ammo, the Brits would have had to give up the mission.

       Lexington and Concord the minute men hid behind buildings and fences and trees. They took pot shots at the Brit phalanx. And harresed them back to Boston. This time they stood their ground. They took on the number 1 military in the world and put fear into their souls. This battle was a turning point in world history.  We postioned ourselves to be of help to the world in WW1 and WW2. Without the US, Germany would of won.

       And now we are once again at a turning point, a big one. For a house divided will surely fall. That cosequence will make it very difficult for all of us.

6/3/2025 Spinning Wheel

        Well, another fail when it comes to living in the moment. This one was scary. I was in a Panda restraurant parking lot. Phone rings it's  my wife. I say some words and drive off, right over a curb that I parked next to. The curb is 6 inches high. The car bottoms out a top the curb. So this curb surrounds a pit about 3 ft deep with some sorry looking plants at the bottom.  There are 3 pits in this parking lot. Why. I have no idea. There is a mixture of light gray rocks  from two hand held size down to 2 inches in diameter. My car is front wheel drive. And it's the front right tire that turns while in gear. Under that front wheel tire is a foot of air. No traction. Totally stuck. I'm thinking my transmission is finished. See a big plumbing truck nearby ask them if they got a chain or rope. Nope. Call the service station, but they don't have a wrecker. He gives me the service they use. Call him & it's 145 to come get me. I say how about 45. Nope.  Ok, I did what I could do now it's up to you DS,  need some help here. Text my wife's son. He comes out. We hook up binding straps to each car's hitch points. I say it's going to break. He moved me a foot then strap broke. A guy comes over and offers to help. I say thanks. So we try to build up the depression with rocks. Two other Spanish guys come over. We build a small rock road for the tire. The tire keeps spinning, no good. We tried differing ways but tire kept spinning. I dug out the spare donut which is a small tire. We jam it under the front tire. Still spins. After 20 minutes of that. I have my step son go to auto parts store yo get me a tow rope. I go to trunk and get the fabric rug that covers floor in trunk and shove it between the tire and the donut. I press down on fender with the other guy and keep the tire engaged with the fabric. Success.

       The car is ok. My first thought when it happened, was game over. A negative thought. My mind went right to that. But then I regrouped and started to think of ways to fix this. When my ways failed I called on DS. 5 min later the first guy showed up.  Then the other 2 guys. Thank-you guys and DS!  I always believe you help out people stranded on the road.  So I got caught between a curb and a hard place. And through DS I got from under it. The whole process took a little over an hour. So it didn't cost me this time to remedy my problem.

       It's  been a tough past 2 years. Constant problems, seems like 1 right after the other. It gets exhausting, but what are you going to do. Can't  quit. I think on the people of Eastern Ukraine and I say to myself, I can deal with my troubles.

5/26/2025 ?FREEDOM?

        Keeping a fox out of the hen house is an ongoing affair when it comes to chickens. Also the many other predators. You have something good and something is trying to take it away. You have to get creative if you want to hold onto your eggs. As well as determined. Trial and error comes into play.  There's  no quit here. You get the job done.

        Democracy is fragile. Our founders recognized this. When George Washington neared the end of his 8 years as president his suppoters wanted him to stay on. He said What??? After we spent 8 years trying to remove a King. You want to install a new one?  

       Memorial Day is about those guys giving up on their dreams so that future generations could have a better life. Why would they do this? Perhaps it was for an idea that propelled them into action. An idea that would wreck their own dreams. To them they understood what it was to be really free. The word here is empathy. Empathy comes from Greek word pathos. Without empathy, what do you have? Isolation perhaps.

       Today think on what freedom means to you?  And why you like it.

5/22/2025 Say Cheese

        This article is about food. I buy these discount sliced bread loafs for 75 cents at Wallmart. It's like Italian bread. They use to be 69 cents. So I lightly toast it. Then I spread herb basil tomatoes on top from a can. Then I cut the swiss cheese         ( has lower salt than most cheeses) in slices to lay on top. I then put in a 1100 watt microwave  for 20 to 25 secs. Let it cool for a minute and your done. A mini no fuss grilled cheese. Done in less than 5 minutes. I use it for snacks or even a main meal. Also way cheaper than a pizza. Get creative with all aspects in your life. Try new things, experiment. You never know what you'll find unexpectedly.

5/14/2025. Oh...There's a Pill for That

        I have a pill minder. It's roundish with 7 days. I fill it on Sunday. During the week I leave the day filled if I forgot to take them. On Sunday I then can see how may days I missed. Last week I missed 2 days, usually if I miss, it's just 1 day. So not too mindful last week. But that's ok. Today I made 2 hard boiled eggs. As I was bringing a few pieces of shell to the other side to dump them in the garbage can, at the last second I reclosed my hand, they go in the jar for the compost. That was good mindfulness. When you get a handle on the little things it helps you with the bigger issues in your life.

       Different subject,  I had a problematic situation going on. I did the best I could with it. Wasn't always successful. So then I remembered to call on DS with this problem. It helped giving me less grief. I should of did this months ago. From now on no matter what the situation, I'm calling on DS. It's there to help us. So use it.

       So far my car situation is better. This is something I am greatfull for. It took awhile. Sometimes things or situations get handled quickly and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, don't give up on it. Get even more creative. If you are trying to get others to do what you want, don't push them. Let them be and let them draw their own conclusions. My 3rd problem has been ongoing for 10 days. So far, no resolution. When given a pill that's  hard to swallow, keep trying, it will go down eventually.

5/09/2025 The Invisible Fabric

        I didn't  originate this. My theory is that the fabric is our connection to everything the eye can see and can't see. We are all connected to one another. This so called fabric is part of divine spirit(DS). By calling on DS we activate this fabric. We use our minds & heart when formulating our desires. Thoughts' words and feelings propell our wants into existence. It is how we shape our reality. Say you want to win the lottery. Your focus should be on that. After 6 mos' you still didn't  win. Some get discouraged. Then start to play intermittently. Then eventually stop. If you play thinking your going to win but then say I'm never lucky or I will never win. Well you put out a countering outcome. So you negate it. With strong emotions you can pull what you want into your orbit.

        So there are negatives in our life. It is up to us, how we are to overcome it.  My car has been acting up since the first of the year. First the title was messed up. Took over 2 months to get this situation resolved. Due to the person being sick and them having to show up in person. Then I had to get parts from junk yard to fix some things. To get registration. Next was a lack of money. I use the car. Codes on car indicated a purge valve replacement. I get that done for 230 dollars. The check engine light goes off for 1 day then comes back on. Back to the mechanic. Code pops up,  need a new gas cap. Has to be a Hyundai one. 25 bucks. Doesn't  fix the check engine light. Ask Hyundai how much is their diagnostic. 200 dollars' just for the test. I said no thanks. Then car starts with the cutting off. I can get it started in 10 min. This goes on intermittently during the next several weeks Very annoying. Get back to mechanic one. Says 3 of 4 plugs fouled with oil.  800 bucks to fix. I decided to do it myself. Get the valve cover gasket kit, 38 dollars. My first valve cover gasket job. Well the gasket was ok no breaks but the round cylinders which the spark plugs go down in needed those 4 gaskets. They were hard and needed to be replaced. I did the main gasket and the 4 round gaskets. Got put back together and the check engine light went out.. But it cane back the next day.. during these trials I called on DS to help get it started.. I did my due diligence in squirting starting fluid into the chamber. It didn't  always start but I believe DS helped me in getting car to run. This happened many times the last 2 months. I got it to mechanic 2. I had enough trying to fix it. Turns out it's  a crankshaft position sensor. I went to Hyundai to get it. Out of stock. 4 days later I get part. A 8 inch small wire with a block end. 290 dollars with tax. Probably 3 dollars in materials. Bring it to mechanic. Friend drops me off at home. And 25 min later the service station calls it's done. Walk a mile back to station. It starts right up. Had a 20 dollar coupon gave it to him. Nope only good if they get the part. 218 dollars. But they did the diagnostic which would of cost me 220 dollars at Hyundai with tax. Plus they would of charged extra to put the part in. Initially I thought game over with the car. But something told me to hang in there, in which I'm  glad I did. 

       So you have to push to make things happen. Divine Spirit (DS) waits in the background, giving you that needed assist. With me dealing with first mechanic and getting the car to go after being stuck. DS works with you where you are at. Like me not having enough money. Just keep pushing the envelope to the desired end. It isn't easy by any stretch of the imagination. Bottom line is to persevere.

4/25/2025 Make A Sign

        So a month ago. I said to spirit when I see the colors of blue & yellow come together, I will pay attention. Been going through a tuff patch this last year. I've always said that if you ask God for a loaf of bread , does he turn around and hand you a stone. So today doing an errand I see a guy in store parking lot wearing a sweater on front is a guy with yellow shirt and blue pants. He also is holding what appears to be a loaf of bread. So to me this may mean that things will be getting getting  better. I hope. Well will see. You can make your own sign when communicating with DS. You can make a sign for anything like whether you should take a trip or not.  Any decision you can try it for.

       I used to collect postcards. One day a long time ago, I was at a flea market and there were around 100 cards of Nova Scotia. I didn't  have one, so I bought all of them. So I took this as sign to plan a trip to Nova Scotia. And I did. It was one of the best trips I ever took. Many great things happened. And this was due to me collecting postcards. My collection I hardly looked at. It got left behind in the move. So the cards led me to have great memories. Life can be an adventure if you let it. Step out if your comfort zone and push the envelope at least a little bit.

4/18/2025. After the Strife

       Today is Good Friday. On this day he was murdered. On trumped up charges. No due process then. He spoke his truth and reminded people why they are here. And what was expected of them. Some people in high places in the religious life took exception to the message. So they plotted his demise. They succeeded. Evil had their play. But 3 days later, he returned. Why? To show the desciples that what he spoke about was truth. We are not our bodies

 but we are soul. We come to Earth to learn our lessons for the benefit of soul. Not easy. Coming to Earth speeds up the learning process in the evolution of soul.

       The coming strife is here now. Towards the end of this strife, Jesus will return. how that unfolds will be up to him. In the mean time when you feel anxious, turn to divine spirit (DS). It will help you with the situation. I repeat anyone can do this. So in the end.....it is good news to those who love God. Keep your focus on God and you will prevail.

4/10/2925 Head On

        Seen 2 of them this past week while on the road. Head ons are never good. I didn't see the hit but drove up soon after. These cars are usually at least 2000 pounds. The force is at least doubled when it's a head on. Faster speeds will lead to instant death. If people would try to look ahead a little, maybe they could fix their driving abilities. You know, so what your a couple minutes late. Get there in one piece. Coming out here, I've seen more cars with body damage, then I'm used to seeing. Even my car is damaged due to someone else driving. They got hit from behind and got pushed into the car ahead of them.  At a light, I had it once happen to me. Since then I stop 10 feet from car ahead of me and keep eye on rear view mirror.

       Yesterday around 4:30,  I came upon an accident, a girl got hit by car and was lying in the street. Other people came to assist. Not being patient when it comes to cars and streets results in accidents that can be avoided. 

       The other day a guy (A) tries to merge into fast lane from the middle turning lane. The guy (B) in fast lane didn't let him in.  A speeds up and gets ahead of him. B moves to slow lane then accelerates to get ahead of A. Then continues to brake check car A. Road rage in progress. I drove on and didn't see the final outcome. I mean life is hard enough without doing this crap. 

       But these scenarios which occurred in the past week are warnings to me about my own driving. Events play out for you to take notice and how that could relate to the future quality of your own life.

       So look at your own life and see what spirit is trying to show you. It will repeat. Addressing it will be advantageous to you. Write it down in your journal.

4/06/2025 In The Moment

        Dropped my toothbrush from a small plastic bag, that was on upper cabinet shelf. Landed on top of small trash liner of garbage pail. Didn't fall in though. I washed it in soap and hot water. Good as new. Why....because I was thinking of something else. No longer living in the now. And this is what happens. Living in the now takes a lot of focus. My guess,  since I started to try to live in the now has improved by 10 percent. I went up from a 10 to 20 percent. Haven't forgot my phone in 2 mos. There are many things to be mindful of. When we address the small things, it keeps from becoming bigger things later on. For example not being on top of the oil level in your car. Not being mindful may wind up... you looking for another car. Being careful and determined will make your life better. Each day make a mental outline of how you would like your day to unfold. Take notes once in awhile  while your out and about. You are trying to master your life.

 

3/30/2925 And So It Goes

        It's been half a decade since I started this blog. I can't believe it. I was going to do it for 1 year and now it's 5. In Dec 2019, I was watching tv and a video of a Chinese Hospital was being shown, inside a frazzled doctor was stepping over sick people in the hallway. Must of been 20 victims of the virus. I knew right then, that's a pandemic. Told my family members who all dismissed it as just the flu. I did not stop though and kept bringing it up. The end of Feb 2020, I was in another state and the virus crossed into the US. Scary times. I wrote this blog at the end of March as a help to anyone who had an interest. Initially I tried writing a book. Got several chapters done, but I gave up on it. Couple years later I found out about blogs. This was more up my alley. I like doing it. Prior to 2019, I noticed Asian people wearing masks at the airport. I thought it was strange. .This covid thing was air borne. So masking up was the most commonsense way to combat the spread. Pretending it was not a problem was a fools predicament. The resulting data as of today is over a million Americans dead because of it.  I was back in my hometown a year later and was in the hospital for a family member. I talked to a nurse in her 50s. She said they lost every single covid victim in March 2020. Couldn't get my mind around that fact. Now top scientists are being dismissed from their jobs. Not good to say the least.

       Now more than ever it is important to acknowledge that connection we have to DS   (Divine Spirit). It can help us in our decision  making process. It can see us through very tough times. Rely on it and not fear induced proclamations. Anyone can access this spiritual help, which has real life solutions to what troubles us.

       The best and easiest thing you can do is to be kind in word and deed to everyone,  everyday.  It works. I interact with at least 50 people per day. I always end the conversation with a positive saying. It comes back to me from other people throughout the week. If everyone did this the world would be a more happy place.

        5 years down and another 5 years to go. Keep on trying to improve your life and never give up. Make your adjustments and always look for ways to stay positive. You will be a beacon in your own life as well as others.

3/25/2025 Manna

        From heaven. It was the stuff that fell from the skies and enabled the Israelite to eat while in the desert. In this case it was food. But it can be anything.  To me manna is the connection between you and God. Which I call divine spirit(DS). This connection is your life line, to help regarding your daily life. It takes on many forms. 

       Two weeks ago as I approached a deli, I see Ben Franklin staring up at me in the sunlight. Looks real. Pick it up, paper. Back of bill says  prop money. Oh well.  But once 10 years ago, it was a real a 100 dollar bill I plucked from some store floor. It was needed then. Thank-you DS. Doesn't always happen this way.

       Since January, I've been having car troubles. The tittle I'm trying to put in my name. But at one time she turned it over to a relative who didn't  go forward with the title exchange. Now the title has to be redone. So I have to pay twice for 2 titles. Go in wait in line, then they say, oh she has to be here to do it. I say give me form and I will get her to sign it. No they say. Couldn't bring her because she's  been sick. Call the state about it. There is a way to do it, get an affidavit. Then notarize it. The notary I try is around the block, my bank, so I get it done. So now to get a title and registration, I have to show a safety emission test that the car has to pass. So I go to junk yards and get 2 lights for the car back and front. Now has to pass emission test. It flunks. The code reads purge valve. But the mechanic won't give me a price, station A. I find another station that gives me a price of 230 dollars, Al's. I have him do it. Done in less than a hour. No engine light is on. The next day the light comes back on. Then get 2 tickets no registration and no insurance. Went to court 240 dollars due by June 6th. The car operates fine until 2 weeks ago. It started to cut out. Like 3 times a day it would shut down. Wait 10 min then it would start up. Run good. Next day no shut downs. Pulled a little hose that connects to the air intake manifold, seemed to do the trick but day after started acting up again. A couple times I asked for help from DS and then the car would start on cue. This last time it required 10 minutes. Call on DS again. I see a car with a magnet sign on door Al's  Service. The place I took it for purge valve was called Joes Auto service. But for some reason I call it Al's. So the first station that looked at the car and failed it for safety & emissions, I went to after car started. They can't look at it,  I have to bring it back in 10 days. Then I go to Al's, really Joes. His guys look at it right away. Take the top plastic shroud off the engine and pull the coils. 2 of them soaked in oil. The car is a Hyundai 4 cylinder. The other two are ok. So Joe goes inside to work up estimate. The mechanic says he should be done soon. I say he's probably looking for a bigger calculator. The mechanic had big laugh at that. But I was right 800 bucks. Ouch!  Don't  have the money, so off to Auto-Zone. 160 bucks for parts. I'll get it online for 100 bucks. Also needs a   valve cover gasket. The oil gasket failure led to two soaked coils and 2 spark plugs. So I will be doing it myself.

       So the car that drove by with Al's service was a waking dream for me on what to do next. Not service station A but use service station B ( Al's). It was right.  Got it diagnosed for no money. Where previously at a Hyundai dealership they wanted 200 dollars just for a diagnosis. Due to check engine light. So DS steps in after I ask and points me in the right direction. Thankyou  DS.

3/11/2025 What an A...H....

        I'm on the highway, traveling 55. A guy ( car A ) is ahead of me  600ft and clover leaf is up to the right. A car is accelerating down the ramp trying to get ahead of car A. No yield to this guy. He's  ahead of car A, just barely. Then he starts to fishtail it on dry pavement. The back end is to left then right. This is fast motion. I say this guy is going to roll it. Never seen that before. He gets control of it. What an A...h... I say to myself. Then I say uh oh, I did it again. This is also a lesson for me when traveling  the roadways. Be really careful with my driving and the driving of others.  

       Not long after that, a young gal gets aggressive after completing a left hand turn. She's right on my butt. I quickly pull the car to the side of the road. I give her the road. I keep an eye on the rear view mirror looking for the aggressive driver. Life can be hard  but some people are out to make life even harder for themselves. So for me, it means be especially careful on the roads. These are warnings.

       More on living in the moment. I did it again, got to store and as I walk to the door I feel my back pocket, no wallet. Before,  it was always the phone.  Fixed that problem and now it shifted to the wallet. I did a little better, usually I got my goodies on the checkout belt, then reach for my wallet and find it missing. It's still a work in progress. 

       I try to keep a loose outline on how I want my day to go. Today for the first time in awhile I got most of my to do list done.  It's a good feeling. I give thanks.

3/05/2025 Boston 1770

       The Boston massacre  happened on this date 255years ago.  There was bad blood between the colonists and the redcoats. The redcoats were professionals the Bostinians not so much. On this day the colonists were taunting the redcoats and throwing rocks, sticks and snowballs at them. Captain Preston lost control of his men and they fired into the crowd with their muskets. Maybe he ordered it maybe not. There is a picture of the massacre & it shows the redcoats in line abreast. Once their in this formation, it is the start to a potential fight. They usually wait for any future orders. That order is to fire. So it was one volley and 5 men fell. Crispus Attucks was the first to fall in the crowd of 400. He was a black/ indigenous man. This event was used by the sons of liberty to drum up anti British sentiments in the Boston community. The British pulled their troops out of Boston until 1774. So the embers burned for the next 5 years. Culminating at Breeds Hill June 17th 1775.

       Kent state, May 4th 1970. Ill led national guard troops gunned down 4 kids, who were taunting and throwing rocks at them. They responded with live ammo. A military force shooting into a crowd of fellow Americans.  It was a turning point in the future end of the Vietnam War. These flash points usher in some sort of change in the direction of futurefate. What will become of us?

       The first flash point led to the  creation of this country. The 2nd a morality change.

3/6/2025 The Tire Episode

        It was the end of the day and I was driving back from work. On the highway I was driving 60 mph. No problems. The next day I get in the car and drive 15 ft, something ain't right. Get out... yep ....flat tire. It was bad, bald and steel fibers sticking out. But I remember I just put air in this tire 2 weeks ago and the tire looked alright. It still had tread. Now hardly any. Get the jack out and put the doughnut on. The town 20 min south of me I recall had a  couple used tire stores. First store  had a tire but it was a little narrower and a little higher. 60 bucks. I passed. 2nd shop nearby had the tire but it was new 100 bucks. The whole time in my head I'm thinking 40 bucks. Look at my phone and I find a place back in my own neighborhood. They have the tire, how much..... 50 bucks. Not 40 but close enough. He had it on in 10 minutes. Plus the guy said I needed brakes, 80 bucks for the front. I supply the pads. Good price maybe next month. Divine Spirit I credit for not having a blow out on the highway yesterday. Also the day the flat happened was a nice day. I didn't  get wet sitting on the ground. The next day it rained hard, another blessing. It is good to count your blessings. Being grateful invites more good things for the future. Now negative things do pop up, so be resourceful in your approach to them. Right now I'm dealing with a lot of negative experiences that are going on now. Previously, I thought the car was out of alignment due to hitting too many potholes. The car shook. After replacing the tire, no more shake. Those loose steel belts in tire had an adverse affect on my ride.

3/2/202 A Close Shave

        Last week,  I watched a guy cheat death at the RR crossing. Today I had a close shave in a parking lot. I pulled in front of this guy.  He brakes and I swerved left. No damage. So the RR incident was a wake-up call for  me and the driver who went around the gate. A dual purpose incident. The RR guy and me both had close shaves, mine happening a week later. You can  witness it or someone tells you something out of character. Write it down & reflect on it. In some way it pertains to you. So I see it for more than it appears. These instances are like an arrow pointing at you. You need to pay more attention in this area of your life. As an aside it's better to park facing out of a parking space. Close calls are there for a purpose, to drive home a point.  It's pay attention time. Be grateful for when these events happen. You are becoming an active participant in your reality. I got a warning watching that RR guy. I said what an idiot. I should have reflected on my own driving habits and not about his. So I missed this warning. And I became the idiot.

2/23/2025 Choo Choo

        I crest this small hill while driving, this week. As I'm coming down, I see the car ahead driving around the train crossing gates. The locomotive's horn was ablare. The car made it across 30 secs before the freight train. So stupid. If the car had a problem, well no more driver & car. Just the day before on reddit saw a big box truck get obliterated doing the same thing. I never seen it personally  happen before. This driver put their life on the line for the sake of 7 or 8 minutes. This train was a mile long in the blink of an eye, it can be over. So critical thinking and listening  within can save your future existence. When the trains coming down the track, it's a metaphor for any big thing coming at you say your health. You get warnings. Things are always changing. Think, then use your intuition, your god connection and finally taking action. It's  our choice to see that train a-comin. Or throw caution to the wind & proceed at our own peril. When these trains come,  always go within first before your next move. I find this way is best, in how the future plays out. If I use my will, its never as good as the divine will. A lot of times you have to wait til the time is right to make your move. And that wait time can be real hard to go through as I'm finding out.

2/21/2025 I Can Fix It

        More on living in the now. Snow is on the ground as I go to drop plastic bottles in recycling bin. I have small bags of trash as well. So I drop the 7 bottles into the trash can by mistake. They drop to bottom of 5 ft bin. Me not living in the moment. The recycle bin is at the curb, trash bin is next to the house. I went to curb to put the other bag of recyclables into the bin. Walking up the driveway, I spot a 3/4" 2 ft stick in the snow.  At the end of stick is a  2 in 45 degree  angle stub. Perfect. Reach into trash bin and I put the stub into the capless bottle, lifting them right out. Of course the last bottle has a cap on it. That one took a little longer, I had to squish it with stick against wall of bin and slowly bring it up against the bin. I got the job done.

       So,  by not being mindful, it cost me time. But spirit had a solution. I had to use my brain to recognize it. The tool to fix what I perceived to be a problem. This is minor. But it can come in handy when dealing with larger issues. Say on the road when driving. Not being mindful can cost you in time missed due to injury or court costs.. learn the small lessons. I fail alot with this mindfulness. But I see improvements, like not having to drive back home because I forgot something. Also, getting creative in fixing a problem I created.

2/12/2025. The. Wheel

        In a couple days it will be Valentines Day. A day that celebrates why we are put on this planet. To send out loving thoughts and actions. We all have egos that rise up to ascertain our command of our environment. A lot of times our egos get in the way of making things better.  Better to think before we speak and act. Put that pause button on. If we're hot and bothered. ..best to say nothing or leave the room.  I'm not saying it's going to be easy.  Once you incorporate it into your life, your life will be a little more free sailing.  We will have setbacks along the way, I can attest to that.  If the other person is having a bad day, give them space. Say like on the road. Someone cuts you off. You get mad and flip the bird and yell. Not necessary. In your past you have trangressed as well. Be kind & considerate always, keep that ego in check. The kindness you put out will be felt by others. By saying something to a checkout person at a store may influence their behavior to their kid. Kindness begets kindness down the road. This spreads love outward. Like ripples from a stone when it hits the water.   

        So I went out this morning to the store. Coming back the light changed to red. When it does that I take the first exit before the light. When the light changes both sides have to stop. Usually I make the turn. But today I hesitated on that left turn and sure enough the driver drives through the red light. Maybe blinded by the sun. But when stuff like this happens I always thank Divine Spirit. The hesitation might just have come from it (DS). I wished that person safe travels. So 15 min later I was backing out my driveway and I wait for a car to pass, roll my back tires at the curb area into the street and see a blue car which I didn't notice before,  the mailbox blocked my view. But it was my fault, taking my time saved me. 2 times in a half hour. Whooh!

       Taking a chance. A guy on Wheel of Fortune recently wound up on the show do his son's influence. The son has dyslexia. So the family watched the wheel so as to help the son with his deslexia. The son said you should go on the show. He said he would if you help me. He did get on the show and won over 55,000 dollars. So taking on a chance proved very rewarding in many different ways. In life when an opportunity arises, take the time to think about it and maybe go for it. Bigger decisions will require more fore thought. Trying new things can open yourself up to more rewarding experiences.

2/8/2025 It Can Get Tricky

       I've been trying to get this car registered for awhile now. When I get money up, something comes around and takes it. In the mean time I was getting quotes on car insurance on the net. The come on was 20 or 40 dollars per month. Nope, what I got was 160 down and 137 per month. My answer was no.  This was going on for weeks, since my car got repossessed. It was relief when this happened because I couldn't afford the 350 per month payment.  2 weeks ago I get a call from State Farm it was Jordan and not Jake. He said 88.50 per month and no down-payment. I said good but I have to wait for my pay card to come. Two weeks later, I finally got my card and tried to find Jordan's number. Can't find it. I couldn't believe it. So Meghan from State Farm a different office had been calling me but I didn't get back to her. She calls as I'm  looking for Jordan's  number.  She says 72.30 per month. Saved more than 15 dollars over Jordan's estimate. I took it. So took over a month but these dead ends were necessary to get this rate. Any estimate that said I had to pay a down-payment,  I rejected it. I  knew not to pay over 100 dollars per month. Most insurance companies were around 130 per month. So persevere and stick to your guns. I did get 2 tickets for no insurance and no registration. Hopefully I can take care of this soon. When in a hard spot keep on keeping on and tell yourself I will get it done. Many more issues have been coming up as well.

1/31/2025 Boil Water

         Got this from Reddit. You can't  see your reflection in a pot of boiling water. When you take it off the fire and it cools down, you once again can see your reflection. In a state of anger, alot of damage can occur either physical or emotional.  This loss of control can wreck your life for the next hour and up to years into the future. Make your decisions when your at peace with yourself and your environs. Anger is pure destruction. Also there is no such thing as righteous anger. I got angry once and I felt it as being suffocated. It was not pleasant. I pulled over exited the vehicle and took 3 big breaths. It helped alot. I was back to being me. Things go our way and sometimes they don't.  It's up to us to figure out why things didn't go our way. There is a reason why monkey wrenches are put in our path. Alot of times It's because we're not ready yet or we still have stuff to learn, where were at. This happened to me. One thing I learned in life, is never give up. And try to give love to all situations that pop in your life. Also use your spiritual tool bag on a constant basis. If put in a diffucult postion hand the problem over to Divine Spirit. Say to it, here you have at it. Spirit will then fix it so that everyone has a chance to be moved  forward for the betterment of all. Then try to see what spirit did in fixing the situation. Each person will be given a chance to reflect on what transpired. Some will do it and others not. To grow is in the doing.

1/29/2025. Always a Delay

        Since the move, I've been under some financial pressure. I took a delivery job, last year. So I asked Spirit the other day for a at first 5 dollar cash tip to which in 5 secs I bumped it to 10 dollars. Well that day I got a 4 dollar cash tip. Plus 2 tickets for no insurance or registration. Registration you have to pass a safety & emission test. Not cheap for an old car. So the next day I wound up getting 27 dollars in tips but it goes on a card that I didn't get yet. So there was a 24 hr delay between the ask and the delivery. Plus it was 27 and not 10 dollars. Other small good things happened as well in aiding me. Plus the 2 negative things. My point is I could see Divine Spirit blazing the way for me. Also I was getting quotes online for car insurance. These quotes were like 160 down and 136 a month. They were all in the same ballfield. The c'mon was 30 or 19 dollars a month. None of them ever came down to this level. So Thursday I was going to return phone calls on this problem. I finish breakfast and was getting ready to make the calls. Then State Farm calls. Pick up the phone it was Johnathan not Jake. I get my insurance no down payment 88.50 a month. I take it. Done in 10 minutes. Saved me 3 hrs on the phone. Another gift. Thank-you. Behind every dark cloud there is a silver lining, in my case it's gold. To manifest things stick alot of emotion behind your words and say it outloud. Do it when by yourself. It works. Believe it so. No doubt allowed. Here is a form of it. I Never win anything. Or naaah It won't work out for me. When you want something say it outloud at least 3 times. And don't negate it with your next breath. We forget this sometimes and then have to relearn it. I am guilty of this at times. No matter what, keep moving forward.

1/19/2025 Attitude

        We come here as creators. To create our life for the good or the bad. Many lessons are woven throughout our creation. Trial and error helps us in picking events , things and people into our life. When doing this, we should always listen to our mind and heart. Alot of times when acting from ego we pay a price. Ask yourself, was the price worth it. Keeping a journal keeps the magnifier on you. Hopefully you will shape your life into something more rewarding. You become more greatful, confident and giving. These are traits that you take with you when you die. You are fulfilling your role in God's plan. It's extremely important. After all it is the reason why you came here. Life is ups & downs. Changing your attitude during a down time can help you better get through it. It's a slight adjustment to your way of thinking about a situation. When you have a real bad situation, go to your journal. Discuss it fully in writing and make an outline in how to get through it. Write about your attitude and how you can shift it to make things better. Is ego ruling the day? How have my actions led to a better resolvement. Try adjusting a particular attitude that your holding onto. When in the mist of a vexing problem call on divine spirit for it's aid. Alot of times that comes as a small assist. Something will break for you at the right time. When you want to work with divine spirit just ask. When you see the correlation between the ask and the result you will know for yourself that divine spirit is a force from God, acting for your benefit. When you know this you're life will change for the better. Now some problems are big. You chip at them breaking it down into smaller pieces. Maybe this problem can get a little better. Always have hope. No defeatist attitudes. Someone wrote I lost all hope. I wrote back.  Never give up on hope, Ever. No hope is depression. And that pit can only get deeper. Hope will lift you out of that pit as well as God's grace. So bad times are there for us to become stronger. With that strength we are in a position to help ourselves in future predicaments and maybe to help others as well. I find any negative attitude that I hold comes to bite me good. Shifting that attitude can spare me that bite. When your actions come back on you pretty quickly, you will know that you are definitely on a spiritual path. No matter where you are on this path, life can be better with a  slight correction in your attitude.

1/06/2025 The Who, The What & The Where

     Doesn't really matter. What matters is you and your relationship to God.  There is that at the top of your list. Everything else comes after that. Is there a time of reckoning coming ?  My answer is yes and it is coming soon. It is something I feel. The date I do not know, nor the how. It's about being put to the test. This test is important when it comes to our future. It will be a dividing line. Those who commune with Divine Spirit will know where that line exists and where to step. The amount of time you spend with Divine Spirit does not have a bearing on how long you been doing it. You will know that line. If you stand up for what is right, you help yourself as well as others. If your actions are selfish you will reap those consequences. Hence, you shall reap what you sow. Very simple premise. Many an ego crack their head on this premise.

       So I always say Be kind in word and deed to everyone,   everyday. Start with yourself first. It paves the way that day in a positive way. Negative things can still happen though. Ask yourself what is here for me to learn. Always be greatfull and look for ways to fix your situation. These last 8mos have been challenging for me. Fires pop up all the time. I look for ways to put then out. It gets tiring though. You tell yourself, you will persevere no matter what. And this is what I do. Eventually this phase will end I'm hoping. During this hard time your resourcefulness will come to bear on how well you cope. You will find if you don't give up that you do and can adapt to what life throws at you. You are becoming stronger. Each person will have to do this forthemselves. It will be their well earned victory.

       Always ask for help from Divine Spirit. Be greatfull. 10 min of contemplation. Think how you would like your day to go. And keep a journal. Reread your journal it will show how your thoughts are leading to a more rewarding future.
