5/26/2020 Being a Buttinski
I was at a strip mall one day, nice day in my pick up truck. Came down a lane and stopped at the road that parallels the stores fronts. Some vehicle was blocking my view from my right. I inched my way forward making sure I don't get hit from the right. Give it a little gas as I bring my eyes back to left, I see a woman step off the sidewalk into street, slam brake hard. The woman gave a short scream. She was 8 ft from me. Sorry I say. The young husband who was trailing behind, came forward and started cursing me out. I said nothing. He tried to open door but instead used his fist on my big side mirror still cussing his fool head off. I said nothing. The wife and guy walk to their car, when they are 50 ft away, I say something, real loud.... God bless You!! That did it, the curses were ten times louder than before. Stepped on gas and got the heck out of there. I thought, I hope that wife paid attention to what happened. This time his anger was addressed to me, maybe in the future, she will be the recipient.
It was dusk at a mega mall, I was sitting in my truck. Not too many cars in the parking lot. A family comes to their car 100 ft from mine. The 8 yr old is screaming in Spanish ( I don't speak it). The father takes his belt off and starts to hit the kid. I don't know what to do. In my head I get turn your high beams on. I didn't listen. It was a good idea though. They left in a couple minutes. I stopped myself intervening because of the language barrier. I berated myself over it, should have gone over there and took away the belt. In hindsight if I did that, it would have been worse for the kid later on. I vowed next time there would be action on my part.
I'm at a huge outlet park walking a distance thru the parked cars. It was summer and hot and there in the back seat are cute as can be, one yr old twins, sleeping in their car seats. The car locked and windows rolled up. That does it!!! I'm going to wait till they get back, the kids looked alright. Otherwise it would have been one smashed window. I wait. Then I spot store security in his car, I keep waving at him, he comes down. He's yourg. Twenties. I say to him, I think it's a law in this state you can't leave your kids in car alone. I got this he says. Good. I walk away to a spot 20 ft away, watching. Ten minutes later the couple returns. The guard takes charge. What you did was wrong. The couple say, it was only ten minutes. The guard, I don't care if it was 5 mins or I min. I was proud of that kid. Better it came from a person in authority than from me. Spirit gave me that guard at the right time. It's what you call perfect timing. A lot of times, that's how spirit works/ amazing isn't it.

5/25/2020 Did You Say Ghost
Ghosts are harbingers of people that have come and gone. They are souls, that have not fully transitioned to the next world. They still have an interest in this world for one reason or another. When they're ready, they will move on.
I was on this spiritual topic site, when a male asked what's going on, I'm freaking out here! He was in his 20s and he saw his recently departed friend walk up the steps inside his house. Most responded don't text me, stay away from me. I wrote that your buddy was showing you that theres more to life than meets the eye. Nothing to be afraid of. He didn't write anymore. One gal responded with, I like the way you handled it, all the other so called spirit minded people dropped the ball. I said thank you.
I lived in a mid 19th century house. I was looking for a house to buy. I passed this house to my right as I entered this town, I said what idiot would by this house. I looked at a house a little off the beaten track. The realtor said I could check it out. I crawled into the crawl space and saw that the joists were ate up by powder post beatles, not good. But I can handle it. I put it on my maybe Iist. Back in town I was talking to someone who went on to tell me, that a murder occured there not to long ago. WHAT? I go back to the realator what are you crazy! He said he wasn't allowed to say anything. Just great. Find another house about 5 miles away. Looks good. Plus I get all the furniture with it. Go there the next week to check it out, before I hand over the down payment. It rainied hard the previous day, look into crawl space water up to the joists. Deals off! You see, spirit had my back, bringing down all that rain. Looked at other houses. Then I said well I'll look at that first house I saw. Well, this is the idiot who bought that house. Mid 19th century here I come. House was cheap and had a lot of problems. No problem. I noticed some small holes above a door in the living room. The previous owner told me how they got there. His wife's boyfriend paid a call carrying a rifle or shotgun. He was resting on the couch and got up to answer the knock. The fight was on. Wrestling with the gun. Bam! There's your bullet holes in the plaster. Cops took away the boyfriend. I decided not to patch those holes after all. That previous owner got a divorce and had a good life after all. After almost becoming a ghost himself.
This town was wierd, all the houses were painted white, even mine. It was like entering a Clint Eastwood movie. Time warp. First thing I do is get a new roof on it. Contract it out. Tell him the asphalt shingles I want. Three days later, he says he can't get them. I find them but they're 250 miles away. I'd have to rent a big truck to do it. I was thinking about it. The contractor says to me, how about for no extra charge I get you a 45yr rated shingle. Initially it was a 25yr shingle. I slept on it. My heart wanted the first shingle but my common sense said shingle number 2. I went with common sense and I was so glad I did. Here's a tip. Your paying for the labor, ergo get the longer lasting shingle. No 20 or 25 yr old lasting shingles.Job looked great! Now it was on to get rid of the white on the house. I chose a med tone greyish brown with burgundy shutters. One paint job let the town know who I was. My own person. So, I was painting this heavy wood window that I could reach by standing on the side porch's roof. A full heavy gal of white trim paint rested on the flat window sill. Most sills are tilted down to shed water, not this one. The can is just 1 in over the lip of the sill It's solidly planted there. I was painting the cornice as well. Blue sky, no wind, perfect day. As I'm coming back to can of paint, the whole can starts to lift up and tilt toward my new roof. I catch it, just in time. Not a drop hit the roof. I set it back in it's original position on the window sill. I told the gaI I was with, what happened. She was used to such happenings. The soul told her, he wanted to talk to her and that he moved the paint can to make his contact happen. No harm was done by the movement of paint can. I did not deny what I witnessed.
I would see flashes out of the corner of my eye, always near an old mirror that was attached to wall. Either moving into or away from the mirror. One day, I unscrewed it from wall and smashed the large mirror onto the grass. It's hard to explain but feeling of the room was much lighter. I had a friend who was staying at the house and he offered to smoke evil spirits away. I thought couldn't hurt, so I let him do it. From that day on there was a lightness about the place. And no other incidents occured. It worked for me.
As for actually seeing a ghost, I never did.

5/24/2020 The Game of Chicken
There was a time I would buy my eggs from the gal up the road from me. Her chickens were of different varieties, who were not penned up. They were happy chickens. Eh... once in awile one chicken wouldn't make it back from it's jaunt. She told me a couple stories that I found quite enlightening.
When she was getting married, she always envisioned it occuring in her Catholic church. That was her heart desire. However, she hardly attended the church like her mother, who always did. She went to the priest and told him of her plans to be married in his church. The answer came back negative, your not a real member of the church. The fight was on but the priest would give no ground. In a fit of rage she barked to the priest, I hope you drop dead, turned her back and headed for the heavy door. Without a look back. She got married allright, just not at the church. Later from her mother she heard the priest had a massive heart attack and died about a week after her blow up with him .
The second incidence happened many years after they were married. They were going at it one morning and she was steamed. As he Ieft the house one fine Saturday morning, she yelled at him, I hope your right rear wheel falls off. Four hrs later she gets a call from him. Hon.... remember those last words you hurled at me this morning. Yes I do... what about it. You're not going to believe it, but my right rear wheel fell off the truck, just like you said. In he future please be carefulI what you say to me.... Ok.
I always paid her in cash, for my eggs. This guy here, was not about to play chicken with the chicken lady. So... the more emotion you pack behind words the faster they will come home to roost!

5/22/2020 Storm
Last two weeks or so, I wrote about the dandelion. And last week, early in the morning I was treated to a snow storm. I never have seen this before to such an extant. But this one was gentle and not made of frozen water. Sometimes snow flakes can be huge as these were. Compressed, fluffy white seed heads wafting around on a zephry(a gentle breeze). They were all around me and went up to 20 ft high. Nobody around in this neighborhood and no sounds about. I turned down one street and looking 200 ft down the road where the pavement met the grass, it looked like a dusting of snow. Looking closely revealed the individual stars of the dandelion. How magnificent. So small the little bits of light. They individually were trapped by single dark green blades of grass that were the people's yards. What a gift! Thank you spirit!
5/22/2020 A Nasty Little Fence
I worked for this gal Janet one day. She wanted me to fix the den cieling, it had water damage. My husband fIushed some face cloths and hand towels down the toilet, why I asked? She said he had alzheimers. Several years prior, she came home from work and he wasn't there. He comes in 1/2 hr later. Well were you been, delivering the mail, he says. She said just put it the box and raise flag and postman will take care of it. No I'm doing it. At the time she didn't think much about it. Looking back, it was the time that alzheimers was making an inroad. A year after I fixed the cieling, he died. Janet was in her 80's but she was quick witted and ambulatory. One day she says come look in this bedroom. The bed just had a sheet on it. When she was making bed a drop of water hit the bed. I look at ceiling, just a slight mark of the paint. I go to roof, no holes. I get a drill with 18 in bit and drive it through cieling, then disengage the bit from the drill, leaving bit stuck in cieling. I go into attic and see the bit sticking out of the insulation. I took another bit lined it up with bit poking through insulation and drill up through the roof. I went on top of roof and removed the shingle and found the hole. Patched everything up, good as new. If there's a will there's a way!
Her adult daughter would joke about this t v comercial, I've fallen and I can't get up. In the end, she never got her that neckless with the button you press for help. Janet had this one foot high metal fence that went around her patio. She would step over it, to attend to the bird feeder. I would always say let me get rid of the fence. She would always say no. On a cool day, it bit her. She went for a tumble. She crawled to the sliding glass door but could not stand up to open it. She spent 6 hrs on that cold concrete pad, until her neighbor got home from work. She broke her ankle. Took another fall in the house 6 mos later that put her in a home where she quickly died. The first stumble over the fence was what did her in.
This didn't have to be this way. Look ahead for potential pitfalls and then address them. Don't be so adamant about it. Think... Look... and... Listen... before making a decision. Let spirit help guide you along the way.

5/20/2020 What's in a Prism
Thats prism not to be confused with a prison. One is freeing the other confining. A friend of mine Dan, gets a calI from a woman, I want you to do a painting for me. He says Ok. Her story, I was dying from cancer and her doctors didn't hold out much hope for her. She wanted to be with her family, what to do? She said, ok God please give me a sign that I'll be getting better and cured. And please Iet that sign be a rainbow. Thankyou God. Several days later, rain storms hit the area all night long. In the morning, the clouds began to breakup. She dragged herself out of the hospital bed and inched to the window. OMG. There was a huge wide rainbow in the early light. Not only that but the end of that rainbow was coming out of a grassy field just past the hospital parking lot. I've never seen the end of a rainbow. (Me speaking). Her prayer was heard! and granted. Why? She spoke from her heart, that's why. Doctor's couldn't beleive it, the tumors were disappearing. Full blown remission. With pep in her step and a wide smile on her face, she walked out of there giddy, into the light.
When sunlight strikes water droplets in the air it can be refracted or split. White light enters the droplet and exits as different collered light rays, giving you a rainbow. God's love hits the human heart and does the same but exits as many blessings. No more valley for her. She walked forth from then on in God's promise. You too can have God's promise, start by asking.

5/19/2020 To Those Who Wait
All good things come. Maybe. From what I've seen, it's early bird gets the worm. Anything I wanted I had to go get. The more that desire is the quicker you will get it. Trick is you better make sure you really want it. Once that focus is dead on, don't stop tilI you get it. You say I will get this done with spirits help.
I was in a supermarket once with two hands of goods. There were 2 lines and I'm waiting 5 mins and the line does not move. That does it, I put the goods down and leave. Drive one block theres another store, go in, gather up my goods. I'm number 3 in line, way better. A guy comes to me, step to this register, from 3 to I. Wow. This was a small thing. Most of the time, I'm a settler. Not a good thing. Settling gets you exactly what you don't want. Trust me, don't be a settler. Stay in the hunt. Go after what you want, oh there's a big obstacle up ahead, what to do, go around it, find a way, there is a way. Keep on it. Get your writing book, pick something small that you want, give it a week. See if you can get it done. If it doesn't happen in a week, then do it, till It's done. Write down how long it takes. Keep this process going. It will build up your confidence and trust in spirit.
I went to this lecture once. There was a gal, I took notice of in the begining of lecture. Later she stood up to ask a question, the lecturer could not answer it. When it was over a handful of participants were around her, asking her questions. We all went to a diner, I wanted to sit by her, but someone beat me to it. I focused on it and that space opened up. Sat right down next to her. Relationship lasted 2 yrs. I thought that's what I wanted. Spirit let me see how to be responsible for my choices. At a party, a couple of my friends let me know, she wasn't for me, I dismissed their advice. Those outside the situation can see more clearly than you.
I did some work for a guy, who was moving into his first house. The house occupant died, to get the house, he had to clean it out. Twenty trailers worth of trash all by himself. He had a big family, nobody came to help him. I told him that wouldn't happen in my family. He gets me a job working for his sister. They wanted moulding stained+ urethaned in kitchen. Two hundred bucks, they accept. It's night, pull on to road, the traveling trunk I had in truck bed slides off to the side and lands in street. Fancy car behind me hits it, taking out headlight. Tell him I'll pay for it get me an estimate. He agrees. Back to job, guy at hardware store gives me a product that would even out the stain on pine wood, making it less blotchy. I put it on. Oh Oh it was a sealer, the stain doesn't sink in too well. I have to sand and steel wool all the moulding. I can't afford to replace wood. I spend 5 days at it. The stain does take way better than it was. It hurt big time making this mistake, I felt bad for them. Laying in bed, I ask spirit for help. I have a vision, me and owner in his garage he says something, a couple sentences and I reply. The give and take is about five times. Vision over. Back at the house, last day. What should of taken me I day lasted five days. The wife looks around and says it's ok but something is a little off. Oh Oh, quick exit to garage. There's the guy, just like my vision. He said his lines and I used my lines from the vision without adding any words. It all played out to a Tee. Word for word. We left on good terms. Thankyou spirit! A week later I get the headlight bill, paid it in cash. Yep. 200 bucks . That lesson was worth the 2OO bucks.
